First of all, I love this clock which is very easy to set up due to the explanatory Manual enclosed with it. To set it up, you need to press the on/off button on the far left bottom side of the clock for 3 seconds, then short press the large knob button on the right for night light and turn for brightness. The rest of the directions are very simple to follow. Just keep your little Manual close by until you can set the clock without it.Great sounds and colors. There is 6 built-in group scenes to help sleep with pictures and sounds. To shut down, press and hold on/off button and it will enter power-off, and short press any key to start working again. The clock also has a Reset hole on the back to restore factory settings if need be.When the power on your clock gets low, the battery symbol will display and flash which means it needs charging which takes about 4 hours and no batteries needed, which is a big bonus. Been wanting a battery powered alarm clock for years. (One that offered pleasant sounds to wake to rather than the typical nerve jangling racket.)In testing the features, I found the sound quality and choices pleasant (much better than another kind I tried last year). Happy with the volume range and dimming options. There are colorful light features that sync with the sound choices, and some available as a night light.An added bonus feature: the clock has a battery saving mode where nothing displays on the screen, but the settings are kept in tact. (I haven't checked if it can be used in this mode for alarm purposes - wouldn't expect so.)It can take a few minutes to get the lay of the land with all the choices and buttons, but the instructions are good and it's all pretty simple really.I'm looking forward to waking up peacefully in the morning... If I don't update this review, it will mean thumbs are way up.

I got this Alarm Clock for my Kid's room because they needed a digital alarm clock. I went digital since kids are all into digital things these days. My kid loves these fancy buttons and colors and he loves personalizing them to his liking. Unfortunately, the clock was not easy to set up, instructions were hard to understand, it doesnt tell you where everything is. The clock was not packaged well. The colors were extreme on opposite spectrums either too bright or too dark and the alarm volume was the same either too quiet and muffled or extremely loud. It was very hard to program and hard to disable certain features, ease of use is not great at all! Some noise cannot even be disabled! The alarm clock takes up a lot of space and doesnt work well. It is battery powered and it constantly dies often, very much a headache and disappointment for my kid and I and I do not recommend this clock to anyone. Very very sad and disappointed in this clock. I encourage everyone to look elsewhere for better.

I was looking for what I thought was simple: an alarm clock that would wake me by slowly illuminating my room.This was hard to program and included noise that I couldn't disable.By the time I figured out that it wouldn't work for me it was to late to return (my fault).

My daughter is 14 and uses this alarm in her room. I don’t allow cell phones in the bedroom and it’s perfect. It lights up play music and has sounds to help her fall asleep.

The sounds are calming and the lights are soothing, wish it could dim a little more but it’s really a great clock

I got this for my son who is a deep sleeper but it's not as great as it seems. He can still sleep through it. Also, if it's charged, if doesn't last all night, because it dies if he unplugs it to charge his phone. Definitely not as great as I was hoping

Overall, the product works well, and does what it says it does. Unplugged and charged, the battery will power the clock with nightlight on all night. I do have two concerns. The clock is not very intuitive to function, but the directions are easy to follow. And the title, « Sunrise Alarm Clock » is deceptive. I thought it would have a sunrise feature that brightens as it approaches wake-up time, but this is not the case.
