So I really can’t say enough great things about this product. it is absolutely amazing. it’s not like cinnamon gum spicy that chemically burns your mouth. it’s raw, earthy, rich and Unadulterated. I’ve been taking a little bit in a capsule once a day somtimes every other day and I find that it makes me feel a lot better but that’s neither here nor there. if you want to make cookies. if you want to add it to an oil. if you want to put it in a candle. what have you, this is got to be the best that I found for all of that and more. It’s like the goddess of cinnamon came in to your house walked right up to you with her majestic cinny-goodness and punched your dead in your face and for some reason it was the best thing in the world. True story I OFTEN walk by my pantry, Open up the door, grab the bag, and open it up just to smell this stuff. Which is ridiculous I know, but it’s so compulsory I’m Beginning to wonder if they’re making this stuff super addictive on purpose via some secret squirrel voodoo Witchery. whether or not that be the case, I probably need to go to cinna-hab at this point and as the saying gos, the first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem yet still, I can happily say I have no desire to quit

I'm confident that this is true Ceylon cinnamon. It has a very fine, dusty texture, similar to talcum powder, not as coarse as cassia. It's a yellow-brown color, not a reddish-brown color like cassia (see comparison photo of this product vs some grocery store cassia cinnamon). It has a less spicy, slightly sweeter, almost fruity aroma. Because it is more mild, you may need to use a little more in your recipes and cooking. Very pleasant flavor. We used this bag to make applesauce from our trees. The bag didn't reseal properly, so we had to put it into a different container.
