Quality product
You know: to really get to know a product, reading reviews will not suffice. You need to read the reviews before you buy the product, then buy and install the product, use it, then re-read the reviews. So here's where I am at: Yes I installed the rack on my 2016 Mercedes GLE which came with a 2 inch hitch but I had a very small ratchet (1/4th?) and not even the right socket for the big bolt and so I used pliers-type-of-tools. Result: it did install but I know it's not in all the way (the big bolt). There is a wobble, as others have stated. I then read the reviews and someone talked about getting 3/4th ratchets, and that the wobble went away after he really tightened the big bolt. But when I saw the price for 3/4th ratchets I said no way and went and ordered two Crescent half inch ones. Plus a set of sockets. I did this cos it was obvious to me that these are necessary tools for this rack. Not only because of the first time you install them but because of the times you will need to unscrew and rescrew the big bolt. For the winter I wont need to go bikeriding so I will take the rack off. However the wiggle is not an issue. Meaning I take two bikes places and drove with the rack with no bikes on and I heard no noises coming because of a wiggle. So the product is sturdy enough even when there is wobble. The new rachets just arrived so I will go and tighten the big bolt and see if that helped. I also bought a hitch tightener but I am not sure I will be installing it because even as is the rack is on OK I believe. I have used it for about a week only so I may be updating this review. Regarding the rest of the rack, I feel it's a quality product overall. Yes, it would be great to have a quick release feature like others have mentioned but I live in a very safe area so I dont anticipate issues with theft etc. Anything is possible but this is not an expensive item to worry much.

Awesome Bike Rack!
Super easy to assemble and install. The no wobble bolt works as advertised, I just don't like the fact that it doesn't lock. I am currently using a no wobble locking hitch pin instead. I only use this for my mountain bike and it is super easy to secure your bike to the rack in seconds. I like that you can tilt the rack forward so I can still open my trunk when necessary. There is also an included strap that you can use to secure the front tire and frame of your bike to prevent the bike from swaying forward while driving. I having been driving daily for over a week with my bike installed about 50 miles a day on the highway at speeds in excess of over 70 mph and the bike rack with my bike on it is very stable. Again, this is a great buy.The only thing I am confused about is that the three bike carrier is a couple of dollars cheaper than this two bike carrier. If I had known that previously, I would have bought the three bike carrier, lol.

Great rack, with only one issue
This is a really great bike rack. I purchased the Premier with the quick release arms and the padded fork. It’s very sturdy, easy to use. The bold to the hitch is secure and doesn’t rattle when fully tightened. The arms move easily from the extended position to the stowed. I can secure the bike quickly with the straps. I love it. Only problem is I have it on a 2020 Toyota Sienna with an aftermarket tow hitch that is a little low to the ground. When the bike rack is on the tow hitch, i cannot pull up my driveway without the bottom of the bike rack hitting the ground. So i have to park at the bottom of my driveway, use two socket wrenches to undo the bolt on the hitch and remove the rack before i can pull my car in. Isn’t the worst thing, but it doesn’t allow me to just conveniently keep the bike rack on the car all the time. I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem with any car that’s higher off the ground. I dont have any problems going over speed bumps or so far with any other driving to and from where i ride my bike. It’s just my dang driveway. Or i would have given it 5 stars.

Pretty well thought out.
I am an avid cyclist, road and MB. I had been using a different rack that I liked, but I am also an amateur radio operator, and wanted something to support an 11 m telescoping antenna mast. I support annual fundraisers for projects such as diabetes and MS in New England. The forest and terrain interfere with communications. Some of the rides are 100 miles. The mast raises the antenna high enough into the forest canopy that I can communicate with others. For the mast, I place the bottom of the mast, before I extend it, on a small board. Then I secure the mast to the rack, with the bike bars in the raised position. Then I mount the antenna and coax, and extend the antenna. I can do that In 15 minutes by myself. As a bike rack, it works great. Assembled easily, and fits my trailer hitch. It wobbles a bit unless you use the no-wobble bolt. One of the nice features of the bike rack is that I can easily remove it in the mountains and stash it in my vehicle for the day while I am mountain biking.

Very nice quality and sturdy but missing bolt
Really nice but missing the 3/8” wobble bolt to use with my 1 1/4 inch hitchHave contacted Allen and we’ll see how long before they fix the problemUpdate: Mfg responded promptly after having to go to their website outside Amazon as contact button led you to ? website. The part was however not available and would be on back order indefinitely so I suggested taking the part from another unsold kit but they would not so I returned the entire thing because it’s not able to be used without that critical part. I did order another of the same brand and so far so good.

GREAT RACK!
Have used the rack three times. Works great. The price is so reasonable. I could have easily spent two or three times for one of the big name racks. Easy to assemble right out of the box. Very solid, no wobble. I believe the buyers that had wobble problems were not assembling the anti wobble bolt properly. I purchased this rack to replace an old Yakima. We went from mountain bikes to hybrid bikes. The new bikes wouldn't fit on the Yakima rack without making contact with each other. With the Allen rack, the bikes are an inch or so farther apart. That increased space made the difference. Added a six foot cable lock. With that cable I can secure the bikes to the rack and the rack to my cars hitch.
