This is by far the best laptop I've ever had.Runs games at max settings like it's nothing. I also work with 3D modeling and rendering software and this thing FLIES. Top quality renders in no time, and complex 3D modeling tasks without a problem.The screen is BEAUTIFUL. The sound quality is GREAT. The RGB looks really cool. The software to set it up can be a bit confusing but nothing a quick youtube video can't fix.Battery is not great, but that's normal for this kind of laptop.Keep in mind, this boy is HUGE. You get a 17" display, but it is bigger than that. It's also quite thick and quite heavy, but it's definitely worth it for the amazing performance you get. The charger is also big and heavy, so don't expect the most portable laptop.I love it and I totally recommend it if you're not looking for something to carry with you at all times. It was an upgrade from my 2020 ROG Zephyrus M15 and my life changed.

This was an emergency buy after my husband's university laptop (using for 3D animating, modeling, and rigging) was stolen at a conference. 3D modeling and rendering needs a mix of a strong CPU/GPU. But finding what was needed AND getting it to my house in time, really limited my options. Obviously, a 4060 is not the best GPU out there, but since I had a time crunch, it was "good enough". At least the CPU is a strong i9 & the power limits are high (boosts GPU performance), which is better than I can say for other makes/models.Thus far it is doing what is was bought to do, no complaints in that regard.Box presentation was well done. Setup was easy, the only real bloatware was Norton. If I had any complaint, is that customizing all the RGB lights was not intuitive. It's not in the MSI Center, but a separate program called GG. (Even searching the internet to FIND that out was a hassle!)Pro: The monitor is beautiful. The hardware is snappy. The fans are acceptable (they aren't loud unless under load). The 16" is a nice compromise in terms of size and portability. MSI Dragon emblem that lights up on the case looks hella cool!Cons: Tacky looking in person! The case-strip RGB, the WASD, the weird keyboard font... it all looks cringe in person.Unless something goes catastrophically wrong later, this is about it for this review. :)

Computer quality is very excellent. works outstanding.. the. problem that I had with was shipping. It was almost 10 days later than I was originally told. the quality of the MSI computer is fantastic.

Overall a very solid laptop, it handles my games well and look great playing them. Zero complaints overall with this laptop tho it feels lower quality than my 5+ year old Lenovo that it replaced.HOWEVER!! The light bar/lighting system came SUPER faulty and I have yet to get any help getting it fixed. Got the run around from msi customer service and even their tech support didn’t/couldn’t help and never gave me a call back. I have to leave the laptop in sleep mode to get ANY consistent RGB on the keyboard and there’s ZERO customization for the lights for me. Very frustrating esp since the flickering lights give me headaches. I just want solid color in my color choices but it’s either all on flickering or if I start up from off or a reboot, I get 2-5 keys light up and the rest are off. For the price you’d think you get better customer service but nope. You’re SOL unless you decide to return it in the allowed time.If the RGB wasn’t giving issues from the day I got the laptop (on first start up even), this could easily be a 5 star laptop but the issue and lack of support means it’s 3 stars at best.

Visually, this laptop looks amazing. Love all the LEDs and rgb bells and whistles. The screen and color production look great using the mini LEDs too. Only tested a few games so far, but the performance and speed seem pretty good as well. One complaint about this purchase is that the product title advertises the screen as 144hz when it only comes as 120hz max, so it was slightly misleading in that regard. That's nothing to do with the product itself, however, and more to do with the seller. My biggest complaint about this laptop is that it's LOUD. From simple online browsing to gaming, this laptop sounds like a jet engine. That'd nothing a good pair of noise canceling headphones can't solve, however. Temps seem good despite the noisy fans.

VERY POWERFUL TO BE A LAPTOP

The display's refresh rate is excellent, achieving 100 fps on ultra settings for most games. The cooling system performs better than average for laptops, though thermal management remains a consideration given the inherent heat generation of laptops. The device is user-friendly. Battery life is satisfactory. Finally, the build quality is robust and durable, resulting in a relatively heavy unit.
