The media could not be loaded. Quickly delivered towards the end of October, I followed the easy-to-read instructions on the box and started growing my own lions mane mushroom. I left it in the conservatory (the coldest room in the house) and stored it in a plastic drawer covered with black cloth. There was enough room in the drawer to leave a small water bowl and I sorted water into the drawer every day at least once or twice. It took just under a month before I harvested and towards the end didn’t need to spray due to the build up of humidity in the drawer. Finally removed the soft spongey mushroom from the cardboard box - came away easy but the cardboard box has soaked up a lot of moisture and had lost its structure. After removing, the wet weight of the yield was over 540gms and it smelled delicious! We watched a video on YouTube about taping up the hole at the front and starting another flush from the rear. I’m not sure if it will produce any more but I will respond if it does! Very happy with the purchase and will definitely buy again and try a different variety!Great value for moneyQuick to grow (approx three and a half weeks)Taste? It was eaten over two days like a steak sandwich or not-beef fajitas soaking the lions main in beetroot juice to absorb them squashing it into steak like shapes adding herbs spice and liquid smoke! There’s recipes available online but the steak alternative was amazing and so tasty!

It is enjoyable to see how this mushroom is growing. Everything is good except the box, which came damaged. Then I decided to open it completely, and mushrooms started growing on every side. I will buy more mushroom kits from this seller.

This is very easy to do! Simply cut where the instructions say, then spray it daily and voila a lovely large mushroom grows 😎 I've eaten it raw but it fries lovely and tastes similar to chestnut mushrooms.Very quick delivery and smart packaging.

I followed the instructions that came with the kit and have some mushrooms growing already. Looking forward to experimenting with eating them and hope that they will become a permanent part of my diet and help withOld age.

Its been a week and nothing happened. Nothing has grown and i dont see any updates of anything growing. Im so disappointed and upset
