Wanted Barnabas like cane and this one is perfect for that. It comes in 3 parts to screw together. But it is solid, not at all flimsy and worth the price.

I have had this cane for about four months now, and use it for an actual walking stick - the Barnabas Collins, Dark Shadows appeal is secondary. It was a bit too long and the tip was small, so I cut about three inches off and stapled a rubber cap to the bottom. There is a slight bend in the stick. It seems the wood has warped a tad. The faux chrome handle is wearing away already. (Looks almost like brass underneath.) But I still like it because it is novel, works as a walking stick and is cost effective. I have found a place on the web (in Germany) that will make a genuine Barnabas Collins stick with cherry wood and a solid, pure silver handle - for $600! This one is good enough.

Not a perfect replica of the famous Barnabas colling cane but perfect for people on a budget.

A few recent reviews here from disappointed customers made me think that the item doesn't look like the picture and is poor quality. For that reason, I hesitated to order it, and almost didn't. But there were so many good reviews - I decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it look exactly like Barnabas's cane, it seems to be pretty sturdy as well. It looks like the photo and is exactly what I wanted. Quick delivery, and I am a satisfied customer. Good product!

The rubber bottom is a poor design, used it for 20 minutes and the rubber piece was gone and all that was left was the screw that held it on. Long story short, it came out from under me when I walked across a wood floor.

I have long desired to own a cane like the one used by Jonathan Frid in his Dark Shadows role of Barnabas Collins. There are other handmade canes (very fine, I'm sure) but they are way out of my price range, and I would probably not want to use them for fear of marring their finish. This one was affordable, and turns out to be eminently sturdy and useable, as well as attractively and carefully made. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Seems sturdily built and brings back some fond memories. Nice having this around when my back decides to go out. I am glad I purchased.
