CZUR Book & Document Scanner with Smart OCR for Mac and Windows

I really do love the CZUR Scanner. It is the right price and does a great job.When things get mucked up between the computer and the scanner, tech support is there on Skype and helps fix the problem until the job is done.

I bought this scanner for use with an IMac desktop computer. While the seller says the ET16 Plus is compatible with Mac computers ... the software is really not "plug and play". The OCR, while it does work, has quite a learning curve. If you are expecting to take the scanner out of the box, load the software, and start converting to WORD documents, it's not going to happen that easily.It took me a long time to figure out how all of this is supposed to happen. The software is not user-friendly. In addition, the manual is practically useless. The buyer is directed to view the online tutorials on how to use the scanner and OCR. Unfortunately, the videos go so fast, there is no "step by step" instructional to get you where you need to go.Overall, a good product, but documentation and software is really not there for Mac users.

Wanted to scan photo albums. But found that it did not work well on glossy photos or glossy album sheets. Big disappointment
