Finally, the brace I have been looking for! If you want a brace that truly immobilizes the thumb (CMC joint, in particular), but is comfortable and doesn't actually aggravate the inflammation due to pressure on the tendon from the brace, THIS is your brace. It is very well made. The longer brace provides greater support and stability than most other (shorter) braces. That is great for me because I have both carpal tunnel syndrome and deQuervain's tenosynovitis in the same hand. I sleep in the brace and wear it when I don't actually need manual dexterity for any task. This is a brace for resting the tissue to allow healing. So, of course, the thumb and wrist are immobilized. I also have a weenie little thumb spica splint with plastic stays that provide a little support while I do tasks that require me to use my opposable thumb for tasks that require dexterity. But then I put this excellent, very supportive brace back on for comfort and healing.With the discount at the time, I bought this brace for an amazingly good price for such a nice brace. I did not get any reward for writing this review. But I am a physical therapist who really appreciates the benefits of an effective splint. BTW, remember that, if you need to wear a splint 24/7 and you wear the same one all the time, it is going to get skanky. It is a good idea to have a couple of braces to rotate and give them a chance to air out. It doesn't actually have to be two of the exact same brace, but you do want both braces to be effective.

I sprained my wrist months ago and had tried a different brace and for some reason that one was making my wrist hurt more than when I put the brace on. But this one I have not had that problem at all even with wearing it for most of the day. I can actually wear it for a long period and take it off and feel that it has been helping allow my wrist to heal even after months of not doing anything more than pushing through the pain. I do recommend very much to measure your wrist to be sure you're getting the correct size. It's extremely comfortable while also providing great support. You do still get some range of movement so still able to function for most every day things. While it's more pricey than other braces definitely still a good price for the quality and the fact that it is a brace that also helps support the thumb.

I bought this brace to wear at night for my carpal tunnel syndrome, to replace a smaller, flimsier brace that wasn't really working for me anymore. This new brace is fantastic! I have had no numbness, tingling, or pain since I started to wear it. It offers firm but comfortable support, and I especially love the thumb support. Best brace I have tried (and I've tried a number of them over the years.)

This is perfect and worth the price after injuring my wrist and thumb. I am very right handed so it is extremely difficult to do anything left handed. The support to the wrist and thumb is amazing while still able to use your fingers. I don't have time to be held back so I am extremely happy to have found this brace. I definitely recommend it. I have small wrists and the S/M fit perfect and can be adjusted quite a bit. Just my luck as soon as I received it, it went on sale about $6.00 cheaper. Always disappointing when that happens. Still worth the price.

I love this glove, it's very supportive. I jammed my thumb at work which is why I needed it. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the steel bar that supports the shape of my hand, has began to slide out. I would suggest that you see the slot closed.

My wrist AND thumb joints are very painful and I need a brace that will hold my thumb in anatomical position long enough to heal. I've tried several thumb splints but they still let the thumb joint move too much. But this ... ahhh. It limits my thumb movement dramatically. It's also very comfortable for some reason. I sleep with it on and it's not a problem. Anyway ... thumb AND wrist joint pain .... buy it.

I am not one to write reviews, but this is definitely worth it if you struggle with carpal tunnel. It has significantly alleviated numbness and pain during the night. It is very supportive, easy to put on and stays put. I chose this for the added thumb support, which my previous brace does not have.
