Great gag gift
I used for a door prize at Christmas party. Most women said they needed it for their husbands. Lots of laughs. I didn't like that it isn't easy to get the sand back to the top and it wasn't easy to start the sand going. I have no idea if it times for 5 minutes or not. It was still worth the laughs.

My son laughed!
I came across this timer and I knew I just had to get it for my son. He is known for spending time on the throne playing games or whatever (I don't know for sure, I'm never in there!) His wife really thought it was perfect. Oh, his last name is Miller so I printed out the cartoon on a sheet of paper to go with it!

Nice Gag Gift
It took me three times, but I was finally sent one that works. Was able to see sand falling through and times out at a couple seconds over 5 minutes.First one had debris in the sand that would not let the sand fall.Second had stuff stuck to the inside window so that you could not observe sand falling.
