Bought the 80kg version for a modified X-maxx. Even at 6v it turns the tires with ease. The chassis had to be cut to fit the servo and the Traxxas adapter holds the servo pretty far forward - such that the servo horn is not ideally lined with the steering link. It works but, perhaps there is a better adapter choice. Overall, it seems high quality for the cost. Based on the 4 runs that I have on it- I wouldn’t hesitate buying another.

So far so good. This servo has taken the abuse I have thrown at it so far with no issues.

This is weaker then my blue 45kg amazon servo and not worth the money. I'd stay away

The media could not be loaded. I replaced my wrecked Xmaxx stock servo with this 70kg model when I upgraded to the Badland tires. These are heavier than stock, and the YinPin servo seems to throw them around well (even when sitting on the ground).That said, the stock Xmaxx electronics only output 6v from the BEC — so this servo is really only able to give 53kg-cm vs the full rated output (roughly 730oz-in). This still puts it squarely above both of the traxxas options.Time will tell how it holds up, but it looks good in initial testing.

Package was opened , not sure if it was a return or what. Putting 2 stars until I install it. Not sure if the were replacement gears with it or not but none were in the "opened" box. all other yipin servis Ive purchased have came with extra gears

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this servo on a custom RC truck that I built. It has the ability to run at voltages of up to 8.4V. I’m currently running it at 6V, and the performance is impressive. I found it to be very precise. It always returns to center when I let off the steering wheel. The speed is relatively quick, and it has plenty of torque. I like that it utilizes an aluminum enclosure. Not only is this helpful for dissipating heat, but it also makes the outer case much stronger than plastic. I shouldn’t have any issues with the servo mounts breaking on this one. One thing I discovered is that it’s a little bit taller than most of my standard-sized servos. The extra length is not an issue in my current setup, but it was too long to fit inside one of my other 1/10 scale vehicles. Overall, I think it’s an excellent choice for applications that require precision, strength, speed, and durability.
