Reliable, Versatile, and Compact — A Great Ladder for Home and Work
I’ve been using the Soctone 16.5 Ft Telescoping Ladder for a couple months now, and it’s proven to be a smart addition to my home improvement/maintenance "tools". Whether I’m cleaning gutters or accessing hard-to-reach shelves in the garage, this ladder gets the job done efficiently.Pros:• Compact & Portable: Folds down small enough to store easily in a closet or vehicle trunk.• Dual Functionality: A-frame and extension modes offer great flexibility for various tasks.• Sturdy Build: The aluminum construction feels solid and safe, even when fully extended.• Easy to Use: Smooth telescoping mechanism with clear height locks ensures hassle-free setup and takedown.• Non-Slip Feet: Grips well on most surfaces, giving added confidence during use.Cons:• Slight Flex at Full Extension: Not dangerous, but noticeable when climbing higher rungs.• A Bit Heavier Than Expected ( Still Not TOO Bad Though): Portability is great, but carrying it long distances can be a bit tiring.Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed ladder that strikes a great balance between versatility and compactness. Ideal for DIYers, homeowners, and light professionals.

Horrible!
In my opinion and my experience: This ladder is an absolute fail for me! That is all I should have to say! It works as a ladder, but the workability, transportability, operation to extend and retract, user pain and likability once you use it I found to be miserable! Here are a couple of things to consider: It is heavy so when you are extending it and retracting it you must be very careful. when moving it, the nylon strap must be secured, or the legs will extend. The strap is plastic, but essential. when you climb it like an extension ladder the rungs will not be at the same spacing, you can hit the metal bar that controls the locking angle. Fully extended it does not feel sturdy around the hinges. retracting it is a little tricky and watch the fingers! finally, the cross bracing seems flimsy and gets in the way of operations. Missed my return window, so it will be heading to recycling!

Sturdy Ladder, Opening/Closing Bit of a Pain
This ladder is incredibly sturdy and great for many uses. It folds up pretty small so we can store it anywhere without taking up much space. The height is great, we can finally get up to our gutters and put up holiday lights. I'm 5'2" and got up to the roof without needing to go past the top 3 steps. The only thing to watch for is it's tough to open it all the way up, you need to do it evenly on both sides as you go. Same goes for closing it up or making it smaller, it's complicated because you need to pinch with both hands but risk hurting yourself if you place your fingers in the wrong spot. The ladder is pretty heavy, but that's to be expected for the size and stability needed.

What a great Ladder !!
This is a little heavy for me because it is extremely sturdy. I have 12 foot ceilings this is great for changing light bulbs!!! Easy to open and close storing is easy slide it even under a cabinet or even under a bed or lean it up in a closet. Will buy another for the outdoor use. Very very please with my purchase!!

Issues using ladder
When I unstrap the legs, the legs start slidng out and makes it impossible to move. Then I have to unlock the legs and push back in and strap them up again to move ladder. Sometimes the ladder won't retract back in using plastic slide clips.Ladder is heavy but solid. Directions are hard to follow and not a lot of youtube videos to show how to use.Ladder is tall and feels solid.

Good price, lower quality but will work a few times
I suspect this ladder will get me through painting my house, but I am sure something will break soon after. You need to be somewhat mechanically inclined as the directions are terrible. Does the country of manufacturing not have one person that can speak English fluently for the assembly instructions???It is tall and that is what I need as well as collapsible which is great. But if you need a ladder that will last with frequent use, I would spend more money.

Nice telescopic ladder, very happy
Bought this to keep in our motor coach as it does not have a rear ladder. This works awesome. Sections lock in place no issues. I use it to clean windows and get on the roof. Folds up nice and we keep it in the basement storage area. It’s not the lightest ladder but that goes to the quality.

Well made but a piece of garbage
I love my straight telescoping ladders and needed a large sturdy and portable A frame ladder. I bought this with high expectations but the reality is a combination of a useless and dangerous tool. I don't necessarily blame the manufacturer or the design, I think the problem is as simple as there is no good way to make a telescoping A frame ladder. It needs to be extended and collapsed as a straight ladder, then articulated into the A frame configuration. If your goal is to use it indoors, it's soooo frustrating and you'll be likely to break something. Outdoors, it's just unwieldy and dangerous. This product is so bad it punishes you for using it. It's possibly better, by some margin, than the old school folding ladders, but the telescoping function is unusable.
