I have a few radiometers and this one is my favorite
This was on my wishlist for a while because I just love the physics behind it. I have a different brand that looks like a lightbulb. It is a solid design and I really enjoy it but when I got this one and they were operating side by side.... This one was just zooming so fast compared to the other one. It is very sensitive and I love the blue color. If you know someone who is a physics enthusiast or just likes cute little gadgets, this is a great gift.

Does Not Work
I have this Radiometer placed in direct sunlight, and it does not work.I believe it's a manufacturing defect of some kind.I've had Radiometers in the past which worked perfectly, but NOT this one.I Do NOT Recommend purchasing this item.

This is amazing quality, nice base. I love the idea of the radiometer, about having multiple explanations over the past 120+ years. To me this symbolizes the amazing light phenomenon that sunlight travels through the dark emptiness of space for millions of miles to illuminate the world. What a gift this radiometer is, what a gift is light detection, what a gift is light.

Absolutely beautiful and inspiring
This is an absolutely beautiful product, stylish and perfectly functional. The vanes begin to spin even in relatively low light, and in direct sunlight spin with astonishing speed. I leave it on a windowsill and am inspired by it several times a day. This would make a wonderful present for nearly anyone

Who doesn’t love a radiometer?
I pursued a career of science and education because someone had the foresight to give me one of these when I was six years old. It blew my mind.
