Like someone else mentioned, product registration and sample instructions is confusing. There are two different sets of instructions.The product details that you’ll receive results in 3-5 days but what they fail to mention until you email them is that your sample is sent to a fulfillment office before going to the lab and this process can take up to 3 weeks. So we’re looking at over a month before receiving results not 3-5 days. That’s even taking into consideration the days it takes to mail the sample. I had anticipated results within two weeks.I had to send a second email and in that response they told me they thought my sample had gotten lost in transit despite being told in my original email that it was at the fulfillment office. Other people mentioned this in the reviews as well.They offered to send me new instructions to which I have not heard back from them.I will update once/if I receive the instructions. Maybe it was an honest mistake and they will redeem themselves.

I used this test for all 3 of my dog's and found out my 130lbs German/Pit was reactive to chicken, turkey, pork, and eggs... well that's basically in all dog foods. Before this test he was gettin $250 Cytopoint shots every other month for his aggressive scratching. He scratched his face so hard he had welts it was so frustrating, and heart breaking!! But because of this test, and through lots of research I found a food that's perfect and doesn't have any of his sensitivities that this test flagged for him (3 weeks of looking at dog food labels). But we found one, he loves it, not expensive, and his itching has decreased to the point he's not getting welts. He is off of the Cytopoint as of 3 years now thanks to this test!!! He is much happier, shinier, and more healthy because of this test!! I highly recommend!! Results take time but why rush them looking at details!!

I ordered this in hopes that I could find out what my kitty was allergic to, I mailed it in as instructed off the postcard included in the kit, didn't hear from them for about a week and a half then I called them they told me that they had change locations from Texas to Florida without sending me an email or text or anything to inform me of their relocation... I called again almost 3 weeks later and they lost my specimen for my cat's allergy test. Do not order this kit I'm hoping Amazon will stop carrying this after my complaint and refund.. stay away from this product "My Pet Sensitivity" kit...

I'm updating my review I was notified today which is exactly 2 weeks since I mailed it that they received it in their lab now it's going to be another 3 to 5 days and I'll probably update once I get the results. But if you're going to use this test, I'm sure the results are going to be correct, I would allow 3 weeks for it to be processed.

That it is rather confusing. I still have no results from them. So I don't think I would use this one again.

It says you will have results in 3-5 days but what it doesn’t say is that it takes 3+ weeks before they even send it to the lab, my guess is to be out of the refund timeframe. My sample was lost and I was told to purchase another test and try again.Instructions are unclear as it says one thing with the box and then another when you register it. Says two different things on how to send the sample in.

This test is super simple to use and the results arrived in a nice pdf report. To start with, it is simple to take the sample. If you get the kit, you can just use the included comb to comb out some hair to include in the specimen envelope. You just fill out the information on the envelope and then mail it back with the postage paid envelope. Super simple and easy. The instructions online do conflict with the in box instructions when you activate the test which makes things potentially confusing. This part needs some updates on the website to make everything clear depending on if you buy off of the website or have the sample kit box in hand.Once you send it off, it does take a bit longer to receive it back, at least if you do it towards the beginning of the year. Once the results processed however, results came quickly. I received an email that the sample was received and then it was just a couple of days later I received the results. The result packet is pretty detailed and interesting to look at. It breaks each section down while explaining what you are looking at. I will be trying to cut out some of the high sensitivity food from my dog to see if that helps with his allergies. While I feel my vet would scoff at the test, it at least provides some direction into possible foods or environmental issues that potentially could be issues. Overall, the test is a simple and painless way to get a bit more information on possible food or environmental sensitivities your pet way be exposed to.
