Travel adaptor - good value & excellent to have both USB-C and USB ports
I recently picked up the Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide, which has 2 USB-C and 2 USB ports, and I’ve got to say, it's a game-changer for anyone who travels a lot. Here’s my take:Design and BuildThis thing is compact and sleek, so it doesn’t take up much space in your bag. Despite its small size, it feels pretty sturdy and well-built, which is a relief since it’s going to be bouncing around in my luggage.VersatilityIt’s truly universal, working in over 150 countries including the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. Switching between different plug types is super easy and smooth. It’s great not having to carry multiple adapters for different regions anymore.Charging CapabilitiesThe best part about this adapter is the 2 USB-C and 2 USB ports. I can charge my phone, tablet, and laptop all at the same time without any problems. The charging speed is decent, and it’s a lifesaver when outlets are limited, like in hotel rooms.Safety FeaturesIt has built-in safety shutters, surge protection, and an LED power indicator, which is pretty reassuring. It’s good to know my devices are protected against any electrical issues.Ease of UseIt’s straightforward to use. The sliders for changing plug types are smooth and easy to understand, and the ports are clearly labeled. Plus, its compact design means it doesn’t hog other outlets when plugged in.ProsWorks in 150+ countries: Perfect for international travel.Multiple charging ports: 2 USB-C and 2 USB ports are super handy.Compact and sturdy: Easy to pack and durable.Safety features: Surge protection and safety shutters are great.ConsNo quick charge support: While it charges fast, it doesn’t support specific quick charge tech.Limited power output: Not ideal for high-wattage devices like hairdryers.ConclusionThe Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide is a must-have for any frequent traveler. It’s compact, versatile, and the multiple charging ports make it incredibly convenient. While it doesn’t support quick charge and might not handle high-wattage devices, it’s perfect for keeping phones, tablets, and other everyday electronics powered up. I’d definitely recommend it for its convenience and reliability.

As expected
Is good for travel and works well but then since it was more towards one side, the devices cannot be left to dangle or the plug will come out. generally ok though and is value for money

A 'life saver" in some countries.
This small block does the job and is easy to pack. The pins to contact the sockets do need to be pushed out firmly to lock into place. At first it seems that they won't stay firm, enough to go into the sockets, as the socket resistance pushes back on the pins, but a bit of fiddling around will probably demonstrate how to make them firm enough. The sliders on the side of the block do need to be clicked in place for the best results. For fitting into 2 pin US style sockets [also Mexico] the biggest problem is the orientation of the socket slots, as the weight of the block is likely to cause it to tilt outwards, and lose contact. However it can charge up to four different devices simultaneously. There are larger devices which have a cable, usually a 3 pin US plug and a set of sockets in a block. They tend to be more expensive, and would take up much more room in bags for travellers. Some converter plugs are also 3 pin units, which may give better stability in some sockets, but may not work in locations where only 2 pin sockets are available because of mechanical constraints. There are 2 pin to 2 socket extension US cables available - and also 3 pin to 3 socket US cables - but they are relatively expensive in the UK. Visitors to the US may find that they can buy these cheaply in hardware stores, and add them to the collection of useful gadgets for travelling. Such cables could work well in conjunction with this small multi way power block, and should largely overcome the issue of the block falling out of wall sockets - which it has a tendency to do.There is a small blue light which comes on when contact is made with the power socket. The other good thing about this small block is that it can cope with up to 4 outputs. Even though other adapter sockets may work well enough - and be similarly compact - and may even be firmer in the sockets, some hotel rooms do not have enough sockets either available or accessible enough to be useful to charge the range of gadgets many travellers carry with them nowadays. So even though there are some issues with this small block, I have rated it as 5 stars, as in some situations it will do the job where "better" devices won't! I hope that makes sense to some people. :-)

Try a different adapter
This adapter is NOT made at all well for 3-pin fittings, especially on extension / multi-plug strips. You have to have one side clear for any USB cables you’re using, and then the opposite side clear because it will cover up a large portion of the socket for that side.I need the socket for plugs as well as USB cables, because I use a CPAP machine for sleep. This adapter really couldn’t cope with the required voltage. Within minutes it would stop powering my CPAP machine. Lucky I kept another adapter with me! But I was a bit screwed, when I had left that spare adapter behind when I went on to another hotel! 🤦🏼 Just basically don’t expect it to work with high-voltage appliances - especially your essentials. And especially at the same time as your USB charging cables.Worse still, the 3-pin fitting is so weak and barely able to get itself into modern sockets, that you have to often force it in, whilst keeping the switch (as you’ll see in the photo) held down, in order to keep the pins from retracting back in - but I recommend wearing a glove, or possibly even a thimble on your thumb for this! I attempted it with a bare thumb, only last week, and the switch CUT INTO THE TIP OF MY THUMB!!! Even after cauterising with flame, using barrier cream and plasters, the wound has still not fully recovered! I’ve given feedback to the seller to tell them this - THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED!If you care about the skin on your fingers/thumbs/hands, pick a different adapter! It’s not worth any saving!
