I bought this originally as it was recommended by various YouTube gardeners as a good solution to water your garden with every month (1tbs per Gallon). The 25Kg sack was way more than I needed for my small balcony garden but I had also read online that if you add a good amount to a hot bath it has quite a relaxing effect so...I added two tea cups (about 500g) to a hot bath and had a 20 minute soak and I have to say the effect was quite noticeable! I felt very calm and relaxed and a little bit fatigued, it's almost the same feeling one might get from swimming in the sea for 30 mins and coming out the water to sit on your towel on a sandy and sunny beach.I gave several friends a 1Kg sample so they could have a couple of salt baths and all of them found it very relaxing and very therapeutic. One friend in particular who is still healing after a bad car crash said it did actually help with pain management and he has been able to reduce the amount of prescription medication just a few weeks in to his Salt bath therapy.I don't really understand how this stuff works, I know it's two different macro nutrients (Magnesium Sulphate) but it's been suggested that when the Epson Salt is added in sufficient quantities to warm water that an osmosis effect takes place and the water is able to soak through your skin and through your whole body? If anyone else knows more about this then please post it up.Soaking in this also gave me thicker beach hair which was a bonus!.Elixir Garden seem like a slick and professional outfit with good customer service so I will be ordering more stuff from them in the future and so will my friends.

Impressed with this. The salts don't make bubbles so was wondering whether it would actually be cleansing. But needn't have worried, you get really clean after just a few minutes soaking. Used a mug-full of the epsom salts and added a smaller amount of cheap table salt and a few drops of some essential oil kicking around, and hey presto, a beautiful bath! Better than normal bath salts and no artificial smell - great! To top it all it works out less than half the price of ordinary packs of bath salts. If you're wondering how to store such a big bag of salt, we can recommend the Srendi® 50L Plastic Bin sold by Amazon, it's sturdy and there's some extra room in the top to hold a beaker

I always buy Epsom salts in bulk as it's so much cheaper. A few handfuls in a bath keeps the night cramps away. I keep it in a smaller container and chuck various essential oils in it to make life a bit more bearable. Previously I have always bought from a supplier who sourced the salts from China. Those were fine but the crystals were quite large and sharp and required a fair bit of mixing around to dissolve. However this stuff is really fine - like table salt - and it feels like I'm getting a lot more for my money. It's a ridiculously good deal when you consider 500g can cost £6-8 in a chemist. Hopefully this will last us a year. Brilliant!

Epsom salts contain magnesium which is known as nature's tranquilizer. I use 1kg every time I have a bath so I need a lot. This is a great product and good value for money. It can be used in the garden too but I've not used it that way yet personally. It has various uses so I like to have something around that is so versatile.
