I got the Eve Play to add AirPlay 2 to functionality to some older speakers in my home. The setup and ease of use of the Eve Play really impressed me. The Eve Play comes with coax or optical digital outputs, and a left/right analog output. I used this to connected to my 1st generation Sonos Amp. I love that I can now play music to my older Sonos system directly from my iPhone, and I can now synchronize my Sonos system with my HomePods.Setup was a breeze, and there are even more advanced options like customizing the audio delay between AirPlay devices. I also like how an ethernet port was provided, but so far WiFi has been working great! This device has allowed us to make much more use of our home audio system, and my parents love the ease of use as it is so easy to select from their iPhones.The design of the Eve Play is sleek, and it blends in well to our current audio setup. I highly recommend the Eve Play if you are looking for a simple solution to add AirPlay 2 to any audio system.

This is a great product, it does the job and looks awesome. Sound quality is great with my stereo.

Device worked as air player but the set up app conflicted with homekit and eventually corrupted the soft ware in both pana tv and peachtree amp such that remotes for both became useless. This damage, gratefully, was corrected by removing this device and its app and resetting w power offs both the tv and amp and resetting all smart plugs and lights. Worse than useless. Dangerous. Rated less than zero. 5 negative stars.

The reliability is so so. 🤨 it randomly drops the connection or gets out of sync with the other airplay 2 speakers. Would be nice if it had an iOS widget. It’s okay to keep an older set of speakers going.

I have some superb old analog audio gear that fell out of use over the past few years, as bluetooth speakers and AirPods sort of took over for music listening in my house. But the Eve Play is changing that in a big way. Now I can stream, in high quality, to my excellent old hifi system from any source in my house. And unlike Bluetooth connections, that drop off as soon as I walk out of the room with my phone, the Eve Play keeps right on playing (thanks to AirPlay). It's very liberating.As I'd expect from Eve, the setup is very easy, and the supporting app is simple. (a big plus of the app, btw, is that it doesn't require an account. And it's only needed for the initial setup; after that the Eve Play just shows up as another AirPlay sound device.I also love the multi-room playback options that let me route sound to multiple speakers at the same time.A great little product that does a big job effortlessly.

Eve Play has a clean and stylish design that looks great in my entertainment center!I use it to stream music to my soundbar. It supports Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), but you can also connect it to your network via ethernet.Eve Play is very easy to use and the sound quality is excellent.

Good looking device but a serious pain to set up!!! Almost sent it back because of this. Once set up it works fine and sounds pretty good. If you are not patient with setting up electronic devices on your home network, avoid this device and maintain your sanity!! I don't know why this can't simply be a plug and play device??!!

I have multiple sound zones in my house with independent amplifiers and speakers, each with wired Ethernet access. I have used Apple Airport Expresses for the AirPlay interface for each and it worked well. One of these Airports recently failed so I looked for a replacement as AirPort Expresses are no longer made. These have the best quality DAC and an Ethernet connection, and are made by a company I trusted for their other high quality products. It added to my system easily and works great. Only minor issue is that my speakers are in a different room than this device and the automatic latency adjustment doesn’t work in that setting. However the default setting works fine.
