This is exactly what I needed to keep out the light!Recently diagnosed with eye cancer, I’ve been desperate to keep the sun out of my eyes because it hurts so badly and it’s terrifying.Using this and another product to blackout my windows was exactly what I needed. Functionally it does exactly what I need it to. It’s very sticky and it sticks to itself very easily and can easily get twisted around, so that’s not great but it really doesn’t matter because it does the job.If you need blackout tape, this is exactly what you are looking for, without question.I would definitely buy it again and I would definitely recommend it!

This tape is awesome. Perfect for covering the small ray of light between my shades and the window frame.

Great. I cannot say more about this. It was so easy to put up around the edges of my window blinds. I got this for the corners of the windows that show light between the seems of the roller shades and it went up so easy I’ll. Sticks to the window well. Looks good. Easy to adjust so that I get all the cracks. I love the amount on the roll and the affordability of this blackout tape. I will be using this on every window that has light leaking through around the edges!

Does great job, ends slightly tend not to stick but happy with overall performance

I bought this expecting to be able to cover up LEDs throughout my bedroom and my alarm clock, but the tint strength is too dark.I wish that there were more options than this one roll. If this listing had multiple tints to choose from, it would have been more useful. As it stands, this should be used to block only the brightest LEDs.I wanted to use it on my alarm clock but it made it unreadable. This is a great product idea but definitely needs some variability and perhaps maybe a percentage number for tinting strength. I would say this is probably somewhere in the vicinity of 80 to 90%.

I happened to get one of the 2020 Macbooks with the touchbar that begins to malfunction after a while. The problem got worse and worse over time. When the laptop wasn't being used, the touchbar would begin brightly blinking with flashing white light. One night I woke up and it looked as if there was a strobe light or disco ball going in my living room because the bright fast blinking from the touchbar was so strong. If any neighbors had walked by my window, they might have thought something was wrong.Apple doesn't really have a fix. I'd basically have to buy a new laptop. But then after a conversation with someone, they suggested putting tape over it. I knew regular tape would not block out the bright flashing. However, I wondered if there was something called blackout tape. And there was! I immediately ordered this and cut off a piece of tape to fit the touchbar. I now keep the touchbar covered with the tape and use the keyboard viewer to manage volume, brightness, and so on for the laptop. it takes me a few seconds more to change the volume without using the touchbar. However, the annoyance is not too bad. I much prefer covering the touchbar with this blackout tape rather than having to pay for a new laptop!!

The sensor and other electronic lights in our trailer are intolerable for good sleep. Have no idea why the manufacturers think we need six lights to shine all night long. But this tape works like magic! Love it! I see some have had issues with a lack of stickiness, but we have not experienced this. In fact, I have pulled the bit of tape on and off the microwave light multiple times and it still works so well. I just leave it lightly attached to the glass during the day, place it back over the light at night.
