The lock arrived earlier than the estimate provided.The D-lock lock is as described 3KG weight, delivered in a simple box.The D-lock feels very secure, reviewed test on locks to destruction videos prior to deciding on this lock over others.The D-lock is not cheap, factoring in the cost and hassle to replace my bike it is worth while.

This is a big and expensive heavy lock. Ideal for securing your expensive ebike or motorcycle. Yes it won't resist an angle grinder for long but there are few locks that will. If used in conjunction with another lock or device then there is a good chance that a thief will move on to something easier to steal. Worth the money? In my opinion yes.

The professional reviews for this device are very positive & it seems to be a very strong, secure D-shackle. Hopefully it will never be put to the test in the real world & will prove itself to be enough of a visual deterrent & keep what's mine, mine - although I think that if it were coated in a hi-viz colour instead of black all over that could only help deter the thugs.... and if it also had an integral anti-tamper alarm fitted into it's innards similar to the Abus disc lock I'd have given it 7 stars...

My motorcycle was stolen yesterday thankfully I managed to get the bike back after finding the people who took it. 4 lads picked up the bike and carried it off with the lock still on it. After I found it, I saw that they tried to cut the lock in several places but it was too tough so they cut the wheel instead. It’s shocked me how strong it is. So now I’ve bought an abus granit motorcycle chain and again this same lock so that they have to cut it off at my house instead. I’ve got to say this product is worth the money. Only problem is they broke the key hole off the lock so I can’t unlock it now 😂. I’ve now got to get an angle grinder and cut it off myself.

Good solid lock. Bought for my motorcycles. Not cheap. Feels substantial and strong.The 31 cm length shackle will happily go through a set of Harley front forks. These being typically being the widest encountered. Be careful which one you buy as the alternative 26 cm shackle ( which is temptingly cheaper) would not pass through wide forks and lock The width the shackle is typically too narrow at about 10cm-12cm to be looped around a tyre and secured to a fork leg. Easy to use and long enough to do more than one bike.Thief gave up before the lock!Heavy though if you are taking far from home.However it gives me peace of mind.Second thief seems to have failed too!Went through the Kryptonite and the cable but no further.Got a “free” angle grinder too as they appear to have dropped before leaving.A further attempt last night failed too. Got through the locked door, padlock/chain and metal mesh but started on the Abus before going home ( probably too tired by then).Worth the money. Out for a ride in the sun early morning no worries!

I use this on the motorbike and pushbikes. Solid, not too heavy and gives protection against casual theft.This will not greatly deter the professional thief but it will require extra time and effort, so if the scumbag is lazy, they may hopefully move on to an easier target.

A heavy but still sturdy lock that gets the job done. I've had a similar Abus Granit U lock for year's and it has coped admirably with the British weather securing my motorcycle. Let's hope this one does too.
