I bought this for my garage and it is brilliant. It's very bright, much brighter than the LED strip light at the other end of the garage. It is plastic and a bit flimsy plastic at that BUT when it's up on the ceiling, who would know? I'll probably replace the strip light with another of these before long.

Easy to install makes the room look brighter

As per image, you can't actually see the screw mounting holes.When you get this, you get 3 holes around the perimeter edge.They do supply end caps to fill in once you have screwed this up onto the ceiling, but you'll see the caps, making it look cheap.The wire is also short at the back and the central portion is very flat so expect the connections to also remain flat into the ceiling plus you'll need to extend your existing cable if you're a little short.Light works fine and bright enough, but lost marks on the fitting and cable length.

I liked that the fixings were on the lower rim of the light and it was a sealed unit with no cover to fit over the bare leds. However, my problem was it was replacing a same size fluorescent light, where the power cable came through the ceiling in the centre of the fitting. This light has cable terminating on one side with a recessed rim, which meant the light couldn't be fitted flush to the ceiling and cover the area of the previous fitting. Not a problem on a new installation, but I had to use cardboard spacers to allow enough space for the power cable to lay flat to the light's connections.

Needed to change an old dim light, this 1 is just right bright but not glaring, easy to clean. Good value.
