4 inch Ceiling Fan LED Light Replacement 6000K, 18W 2000LM LED Retrofit Kit, Bright Round Ceiling Fan Light Kit, 120V, CRI90, Dimmable

I used this module to replace the LED in a Minka-Aire Dyno ceiling fan. The "official" replacement module for these fans is expensive and hard to source, so I was motivated to find something better. Fortunately this module was great. To replace the fan's module, I had to take the old light assembly out and fully disassemble it. It was tricky to get the plastic off; I ended up needing to cut a notch in the edge of the plastic cover and then heat up the plastic with a hair dryer, which barely allowed me to jam a screwdriver in and work my way up to a putty knife, which finally popped the old LED module out. I disassembled both modules, swapped just the circuit boards, and cut the leads off of the old module. I used the wire nuts included with this module to attach the old module's wires to the input wires on this module and reassembled the whole thing. It works great.The only issue I ran into, which is entirely my own fault, was that the capacitors on this module are slightly too tall to fit inside the plastic housing of the Dyno ceiling fan LED module. This module is very thin so there's not much space at all. However, it was so close to fitting that you can't really tell that the plastic cap isn't fully seated, so it's visually fine anyway.This new module is brighter, more efficient, and has better CRI than the original, so I'm very happy with it.

Converted my Florissant tubes in my kitchen to these LED. I have beautiful round kitchen lights, but each light takes two curved light tubes that burn out about every year and a half. This LED was easy use and covert my old light. I’m not an electrician, just normal a round the house guy. If you can install a ceiling fan, or wire an outlet you can install this! Nice and bright in my kitchen using daylight LED.

Installed well and worked. But very dim. I guess I assumed because it was for a ceiling fan that would be bright, but it might be my fault for not looking at the power.

Easy to assemble and works great.

Not really happy with item - it didn't fit my light perfectly and will use it till it breaks. Doesn't fit the Harbor Breeze ceiling fan light pattern

This replaced a 1420lm led setup, and it isn't as bright as the one it replaced, even though it says it is 1800lm. Also the dimming feature is weird. Turning the dial half way, no light, then it suddenly comes on bright after half way. I could dim it lower after turning more than half way, but just finicky. I also wired it up directly (no dimmer switch) to see if the dimmer was faulty, but dimmer switch was fine. The light is just much dimmer than expected. Not going to end up using it.

Bulb is a perfect match for the original Harbor Breeze LED. Very easy install.This is very old tech and I recognized the board from my previous retirement commuter rail days. Put a new battery in the remote when you replace the bulb.ITye remote may work a little wonky at first but after a few minutes it will work just like the old one.It is designed to use the original base do do not toss the old bulb. You remove the screws from the old bulb itself, separate the bulb from the base. It will have a little thermal grease on the base. Leave that there, it's for heat transfer.Attached the new bulb to the base and it works well. Comes with connectors. Use the wires with their connectors from the old bulb and that way you are not cutting wires the next you replace the bulb.
