Put this in my office for a little nostalgia. I like the rose color

I got this as a gift and when I opened it, the base was dented - which I thought I could just live with it. But then I plugged it in and it didn’t work, which is when I discovered the light bulb was broken on the inside. So the gifter requested the return and I returned it.I ordered a new one and received it 4 days later and opened it up to find THE EXACT SAME ISSUES. The base was dented and the light bulb was broken in the inside.The first two photos are from when I opened the gift on a Monday. The last three photos are of the second one I received on a Thursday.

The media could not be loaded. Rose gold base and white wax lava lamp. Love it so much. Video doesn’t do justice. It gets super hot so I think I’ll try a 25 watt A15 bulb rather than the 40 watt sent with it..Edit: it was getting so hot with the 40 watt bulb that’s included with the lamp that the wax turned into dozens of little balls like a bubbler after several hours, and it wasn’t relaxing..I tried a 25 watt bulb and it wasn’t hot enough..What finally worked, was switching to a 30 watt (R39, E17, 120 volt) reflector bulb, and now it’s been flowing perfectly for 5+ hours (see new video and photo) without the wax separating into dozens of tiny bubbles. These bulbs I got have a smaller screw-in base, so I also bought E26 to E17 base adapters and fits perfectly.I love this lamp. Thank you, Spencer’s!

Love my beautiful lamp. Look perfect in my office. Very relaxing.

I’m not sure if it had been shaken or dropped or what, but the “lava” has tons of air bubbles in it and the liquid does not appear clear (pic makes it look clearer than it actually is). The air bubbles make the wax move way too fast and not in a relaxed pattern. I am going to try a few methods to clear the issues up, but may just have to return it. Fingers crossed
