I would say this is a well designed and good quality coffee press for a number of reasons. 1) No grounds get back up into your coffee (I have tried fine hand ground and medium shop ground); 2) the coffee tastes good; 3) brews stay hot for a good time; 4) surprisingly easy to clean (but see suggestion); 5) You can also use it in Costa as your own mug if you want someone else to make the coffee - you don't only have to use it to make your own!Having used it for month I do have some suggestions for improvements though:A) Make available some kind of hand grip if you want to carry it around. Having to hold the whole thing (which is actually quite heavy) is not that comfortableB) The bottom rubber base just fell off (that should not happen)C) It would be better if the unit could include a compartment for the coffee that you could them remove to clean/dispose of grounds. Although it comes with a long handled feeble plastic spoon, if you don't want to pour your grounds down the sink you need a separate tea strainer (I say that in another review and it was top advise). Either that or include a detachable strainer!D) It would also be helpful if there was included a detachable cup accessory that you could attach when required. If drinking right from the flask you do need to be careful.E) It is a bit too tall if you want to use it as a mug for shop coffee machine coffee.F) There was something else but I cannot think of it off hand!The above said, I am glad I bought it.

First of all, I must say I LOVE this product. It keeps the coffee warm for a fair amount of time, it's not leaked, it's easy to use. My only gripe with the product itself would be that it does leave a fair amount of liquid still in the bottom hidden by the plunger. But it still makes a good and portable mug of coffee!Also If you buy this and get a red stirrer with it? Just throw it out. Mine has warped and cracked and flaked lots of little bits of plastic everywhere in my coffee. The stirrer is terrible quality, if you want a long spoon to stir your coffee with use anything else cause the plastic of that is awful.

I took the opportunity to purchase an otherwise steeper priced travel mug and was not disappointed in the slightest.This mug feels premium, it has a rubber base allowing the product to always stand firm on flat surfaces and have yet to notice if it picks up dust. The surface of the product does not leak heat when carrying a hot beverage and had kept my coffee's near boiling temp from the time I had made it. The plunge mechanism is smooth and oddly satisfying to press down. I have had many cups of coffee made in this and with regards to sediment, this mug does a great job of separating the coffee, I have a clean coffee every time and to my surprise I have not seen any sediment.Would highly recommend this Travel mug.Price - Is worth for the quality.Aesthetic - Clean, black and sleek.Overall opinion - It's my favourite travel mug, and would highly recommend the purchase of this instead of any cheaper alternatives if you care for quality of the product and outcome of your coffee's.

This is a clever device. It works like any other french present but it is leakproof once the coffee has brewed and the plunger has been screwed down.The coffee is very good and stays hot for much longer than in a conventional cafetière. However, the capacity is not more than one and a half large mugs full which means that it is much smaller than the standard cafetière which holds up to one litre. I have recently dropped my old glass cafetière and broken it and so this press will be a welcome change but I wish they made a larger one so it could hold more for larger groups etc.However, useful to have when travelling or when working at my desk.

The delivery was prompt and on time, and customer service was attentive, checking to see if the delivery was okay and if I was satisfied with my product.I've been using it for a few days now, and it's definitely better than using a separate french press and thermos. And the best thing is, I don't have to worry about breaking a glass french press anymore. It's easy to use, and instructions are clearly written in the box. My only suggestion is that for later models, it might be good to have a mark on the inside of the actual container to show the maximum fill capacity.I can now brew coffee in the morning, take it to work/school and enjoy warm coffee throughout the day (the coffee is still relatively warm after ~ 5 hours). I would recommend to someone who wants to do the same.

I've been looking for something that I can use in the morning after the gym on my drive to work. After trying a few different travel mug / coffee making combinations, I finally came across this - and it's perfect for me. Let the coffee brew while I'm getting ready to leave the house, plunge (slowly), add milk, seal, then leave in the car while exercising. Perfect temperature when I come out and for my drive. What I really appreciate is it's just one thing to use, rather than having to make the coffee with one product then decant it into another. It also seems very well made, and hasn't leaked or made any mess in the time that I've had it. For what I use it for it's perfect.

Very pleased. Only had it for about a week, but I have used it almost every day. The coffee it produces is super smooth and not gritty at all. I have even been using it the mornings we stay home — you can make coffee and then breakfast and not worry about the coffee going cold or over extracting! It takes a few tries to figure out how best to prepare the grounds before plunging so it doesn't take too much effort. But highly reccommended

Does what it says on the tin... keeps my coffee hot for a couple hours. Provides a great seal keeping the liquid inside hot and stops leakage. It is a little tricky to clean as the main compartment is narrow. Also, the plunger doesn't go all the way to the bottom leaving some water at the bottom.
