It came with no oil spill, charge the battery, and did a test run ,on some old pieces of wire , used bundy lugs, I was very impressed, with the crimp, highly recommends. I did a panel change today, and I had to crimp 3 lugs for the meter base.

This product works great. I've only used it twice but it made the job so much easier. Perfect crimp each time. The crimping tool is well built and looks good.

The equipment stopped working within 3 weeks of receipt, not reliable at all.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE- after about 600 crimps (12 sections of cable rail), the unit began leaking horribly. There is no way to repair or prevent the leak. We were grateful for the performance up to that point. We literally have 11 cables to go (one section) - with 44 more crimps. We bought a manual hydraulic crimper to finish the job. The electric one was so much better. Just wish it had held up to finish the job.ORIGINAL REVIEW - We purchased this hydraulic crimper to install cable railing on our deck. We used the #4 dye and it was perfect for 1/8” cable wire. I read you could use #4 or #6, this comes with both. We bought the cheap tensioner so each one needs two crimps. My husband is 71 years old and has strength issues with his hands. We had about 1200 feet of cable railing to install. He could not have done it without this crimper. It is cordless and super easy to place on the tensioner. Highly recommend.

We use this for our cable railing projects and it has reduced our time crimping ends by 70% if you crimp ends by hand you definitely need this!

The hydraulic Crimper is a small hand tool Crimper but it has a very strong pure copper coil motor that gives off low noise & is easier to use than a manual crimper tool. The tool not only performs its duty well but it is also designed well, the Crimper tool has a nice looking turquoise blue & black color design scheme with shiny steel crimping base & all black oil conservator unit bag. The tool also features an oil return switch, battery lock, cooling ventilation holes, start trigger switch & a forward & reverse push button. This review is for MMNZE Electric Hydraulic Cable Lug Crimping Tool 8 AWG to 500 MCM Rechargeable Hydraulic Electrical Terminal Cable Lug (11 dies).This is basically a heavy duty portable electric drill that drives a hydraulic pump, which in turn, moves one of the dies against the other die. The fixed die is retained by a very heavy, removable metal pin that resists the force of the hydraulic pressure. The pin is removed to change the die sets. The die assembly can be rotated to align the dies with cables in various positions. This is especially helpful for very thick cables. The drill is powered by 2 replaceable Li-on power packs very similar to those used on many portable drills. A charger is provided. The tool, 2 batteries, the charger, 11 sets of dies and a spare bottle of hydraulic oil are all packed into a hard shell case.This tool is a beast. It is rated for 90kN, which is about 10 toms of force. I was able to solidly crimp connections without the tool appearing to struggle at all. Although I did not measure the pressure developed, each connector I was correctly deformed by the die such that the connection was gas tight. The largest size connection I have made so far is 2/0 down to #6. I also used the tool to deform a ferrule on a hose fitting made of steel. In every case, the connections were as expected.The battery powered drill motor does not seem to be loaded even when the hydraulic ram is dead-headed. This should translate to longer life for the motor and batteries. In fact, I made 25-30 connections and did not need to recharge the battery yet.My only complaint is that a better user and maintenance manual should be included with the tool. Initially it was unclear that one needs to tighten (fully clockwise) the valve on the hydraulic reservoir in order that the pressure is sent to the ram. The valve must be manually opened (counter-clockwise) to release the ram pressure. It is also unclear exactly how the hydraulic fluid is to be changed, as suggested in the very abbreviated documentation that comes with the tool. The lack of documentation is the only reason I did not rate it 5 stars, as everything else is very good.Overall, this seems to be a very functional crimping tool that should be helpful for electricians and maintenance technicians in making or repairing cables. Although the drill and batteries are generic, they are not overloaded and should last a long time.If you need a powerful crimping tool, this one deserves your consideration, especially at this price point

If you're looking for an automatic cable lug crimper then this is an excellent option. The tool itself is very powerful which makes the crimping process very fast. The kit comes with 11 crimp sies and will work down to 8 AWG. If you're looking to automate your cable lug crimping process then this is an awesome tool.
