Our youngest mini dachshund, completely out of nowhere, has started to bark at absolutely everything when we are out walking. We thought we would give this a go as the "quiet" command followed by treats was definitely not working. We've used the canister for the last two days (probably six squirts in total). Just spray, use the command "quiet" followed up by a treat and lots of praise and this seems to be working wonders. It instantly grabs his attention and on our walk today just the word "quiet" has stopped the two attempts to bark instantly. I will keep it in my pocket, but so far this seems brilliant. Thank you!*UPDATE* It's now April '25 and trust me this canister works. Our little lad has grown into a well behaved non barky dachshund. No need to take the canister on walks anymore, just the word "quiet" just grabs his attention. This is a brilliant product that I would not hesitate to recommend and it really works in a short period of time, say two - three weeks.

These little things work like magic ! My really friendly dog turns into a guard dog on her lead when confronted by a dog on a lead, after a few ‘goes’ she just shuts up and looks a bit shocked, really recommend these beauties!!! 👍👍👍🐶🐶🐶

Stopped my dog from stealing things but stopped working after approx 10 sprays

This has done the job for me, of helping a very anxious dog go from hating walks to accepting them, possibly even enjoying them. A vast difference and all from quick bursts of air when the behaviour needed improving. We saw improvements within a few days. It's a shame this is so expensive for what is basically compressed air. At £7 for a small canister, this has had us searching for alternatives rather than repeat ordering.

They were a lot smaller than they look but do the job

This is better than a toy! Bought this to stop our puppy from jumping up at strangers visiting. Well, opposite effect, balistic zoomies were the results with manic barking. He loves this for all the 'wrong' reasons. Confined to the bin as utterly useless for our pup! Using verbal command now and with some perseverance that seems to be working. Don't waste your money. Not sure what temperament it's designed for...its just fun!!

I have a mini dachshund, and she barks. at everything. i have tried barking collars etc and they have some effect but don't always work, depends how riled she is (postman at the door for example). This thing, stops her every time, however is is also terrified of it so i feel bad using it as she will go off and sulk for half an hour. but it does work and she definitely doesn't want me to use it again so, id rate this as a 5 star. definitely gets your dogs attention, only downside is you cant really use it whilst passing another dog walker as it scares the crap out of other peoples dogs too.
