This is an amazingly quiet but powerful dehumidifier. I use it in my finished basement to regulate the humidity for our family and my upright piano. Works great! I had some problems trying to decipher the User Manual and how to regulate target humidity- but the Customer Service (Shakira) has been very helpful. I have it on a platform to support condensate drainage through a dry-wall to a condensate pump. No need to empty the bucket! And the built-in ice detection system works like a charm. I got rid of an earlier dehumidifier because it constantly iced up. The Yaufey senses when the temperature on the unit approaches freezing and shuts down the compressor and runs the fan only to keep ice from forming. Definite plus! Brad Brown

Ordered via Amazon, received within 3 days. I could tell from the moment I unpacked it that it is a quality item. Well made and easy to move around (it's on wheels) My old unit died out, so my basement, which is always battling humid conditions, was without a working dehumidifier for about 4 days. This unit got to work as soon as I started it up, and in about 2 hours (on the lowest setting, mind you) my entire basement went from 70% humidity down to 45%. I'm very impressed with: how easy it is to operate, the different settings that are available, the low-noise level and most importantly, how well it works. Overall, It's a quality item that works as advertised, well worth the money. I'm really glad I bought it.

I first purchased the 120 Pint version of this dehumidifier (model number: JD025Q-120) in October 2023. After about two months of use I put it into storage, since my house doesn't have humidity issues in the winter. Around mid-April 2024, I started it back up in my basement, and it was able to keep up with some pretty humid Minnesota summer days.For context, my whole house is about 3,500 square feet. The basement is about 1,750 square feet with an open stairwell leading to the rest of the house. So this one dehumidifier was effectively regulating the entire house, and it was doing a good job too! I have a separate hygrometer I use for monitoring humidity levels, and when I set this dehumidifier to 45%, my hygrometer firmly stayed between 44% and 46% all day every day (unless the tank was full, but that's expected).Everything was going great until mid-June 2024 when I noticed the dehumidifier wasn't collecting as much water as usual. I suspected a refrigerant leak, but I decided to contact Yaufey Support just to make sure. After a couple emails, a support rep confirmed that the unit is probably leaking refrigerant, and offered to replace it.Since I didn't register this dehumidifier on their website, the support rep said I could either pay the shipping to return the old unit and send out the new one, or I could write a product review and they would wave the shipping charges. So, here we are! Honestly, the support rep was very helpful and quite prompt with their replies.That being said, I actually do like this "little" dehumidifier. It was a little bigger than I was expecting when I first purchased it. However, considering it is rated for approx. 6,000 square feet, I'd say it is quite compact and effective at its job!My only complaint is that I wish the collection tank was increased from 1 gallon to 2 or 2.5 gallons.On very humid days, I usually empty the tank before going to work. When I get home about nine-and-a-half hours later, the dehumidifier has (usually) turned itself off because the tank was full. While I would love to make use of the drainage hose, I simply don't have a floor drain to pipe it to. Either way, the dehumidifier usually makes up for lost time quite quickly after the tank has been emptied. Not to mention that only happens on particularly humid days. Most days, the 1 gallon tank is enough to keep up.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this dehumidifier mainly to use in my basement in the summers and so far it is working flawlessly.  It is pretty much set it and forget it which is exactly what I wanted.  You can set customize your setpoint desired and you can also use the pre-set options for humidity levels provided.  One of our initial concerns was noise and aesthetics but this is very modern and sleek and it is also very quiet.  It’s very convenient to be able to see the humidity on a digital display facing you and also have a visual guide for the water level if you use the tank.  Emptying the tank is also very easy, the handle provided makes it very user friendly.  Lastly one of the big selling points is the customer service.  Whether it’s a question or warranty issue, they are world-class.  They are respectful, polite, and patient and have no problem with multiple forms of communication.  You can tell they pride themselves in customer service and they don’t make you jump through hoops.  I would definitely recommend this dehumidifier to anyone that is looking, you can’t go wrong.

2500 sq ft is... optimistic to say the least but this unit does a great job for its size. My basement has proven to be far too humid and I was starting to worry about mold becoming a problem. So far this has brought my RH down from an alarming 70%+ to a much healthier sub-50%. It still seems to be slowly dropping so it will likely get even lower than that as everything in the basement dries out. Its also pretty quiet and doesn't use much powerI will say that the on board water storage capacity is a joke, you will fill it in less than a day easily operating in high humidity environment. A different drainage solution is a must. I have mine draining into a 5 gal bucket, which this unit fills every 3-5 days depending on humidity levels. I have mine in a basement so I don't care about aesthetics but this is something to consider before purchasing, I will probably switch to a AC condensation pump setup long term at some point but this works for now.As impressed as I am with the performance of this unit, if you live in a high humidity location like the American south and have a large area to dehumidify then you may want to consider something bigger

I’ve been using this for over a year now, and it’s been a solid little device that has kept my basement bone dry.The dehumidifier has a series of great features;- easy to setup and get running in a couple clicks- has the option of both bucket and hose for water dispersement- it’s super - extremely - quiet, I couldn’t believe it.If you need a good, small, but powerful and quiet unit, this one is for you.They also have exceptionally responsive and helpful customer support, what’s not to love?

This unit works well, easy to operate, and lightweight. Easy to empty bucket.

This is my second review. My first was just just a preliminary one. I've used this dehumidifier now for almost 1 month...constantly. I am amazed at how much water it collects! It stops working and the red light indicates it needs to be emptied. Emptying is so easy! Once the tray is put back, the machine starts immediately. I have not yet cleaned the filter. It suggests doing so after 1 month. Hopefully, it will also be a simple process and that this dehumidifier will continue to amaze me.

I am learning how to use Yaufey in my basement to adjust settings, everything is working correctly to collect massive water even though the basement is in very high humidity and hot weather, this dehumidifier did help us a lot and provided very fresh air to reduce moisture. It has essential features and mobile to move anywhere easily - thank you!

I found the device very easy to use, it removed the moisture very well. The noise level from the device was very low, emptying it was easy. Plugged it in, set the level I wanted on the LED and let it do its job.Perfect for my needs.
