The Magnetic Screen allows us to keep our back door open when the weather is nice, and it allows our three dogs to pass through efficiently and effortlessly. Even with heavy use, the durability of the screen is a great value for the price. I have only replaced it after about two years of daily “dog use”.The magnetic connections work extremely well and last the lifetime of the screen.The key to proper installation is creating a clean surface to attach the velcro base strip. If you have an aluminum door frame, wipe the surface with alcohol or preferably mineral spirits is that it is absolutely clean. If done properly, the base velcro will last through multiple replacements.Overall, the magnetic screen offers a clean look and provides easy access for people and animals while keeping pesky flies and mosquitoes out.

We bought 3 of these for the front door, back door and the door leading to the garage. We needed to be able to create some airflow without letting in the flies and wasps. Wow do these screens really do the job! High quality and functions as promised. We didn’t even use the Velcro. Just tacked them up with the provided tacks, because we didn’t want to leave the Velcro on the house during the winter when the screens come down. With normal use, the tacks seem to be fine by themselves. Not sure if that would work with a houseful of kids tho. We went with the gray screens, which look great from the inside - can barely tell they’re there! Easy to walk through for us and the dog. Should be able to save a little on A/C costs since the air circulation is so good now. Highly recommend!

Nice product that does a great job of keeping bugs out. Magnets work well too..keeping the screen securely closed so no critters can slip thru. Recommend.

We have a small area outside the front door of our camp, I'd say about 10X12 feet. The 'window' portions have always been screened in, but the entryway sizing is random and we have never been able to find a screen door that fits. So, we thought we would give this a try to see if we could create a sitting space, a kind of porch. I can confidently say that it made all the difference in the world and has created an entirely usable space for camp!THE PRODUCT: Is exactly what it says it is. It's made with a high-quality mesh, similar to that on a screen door. It has the slightest give to it and can stretch just a bit. The border is an inch wide black strip with velcro on it to attach it to the door. NOTE: I didn't use the velcro but instead used 11 screws with washers to hold it to the wood. I don't think the velcro would have held to the wood. The entry split has magnets the whole way down that open and close with ease. They "snap" right back into place after passing through! It is very well made and the mesh is of high quality.INSTALL: Was a breeze. The kit comes with a role of velcro for you to stick around the door frame and hang the "door" that way. I used screws and washers as mentioned to keep it taut and hold up against the elements. I would recommend doing the same as I am not sure the velcro would hold over time. It has held up EXTREMELY well and has shown no visible signs of wear and tear...we even have kids running through it. I will also be able to take it down during the winter without damaging it.DOES IT WORK?: Absolutely! It keeps 90% of the bugs out of the enclosed area and opens & closes with ease. Even with your hands full, you will be able to get in and out with little hindrance. We are in a heavily wooded area and have a constant barrage of all sorts of bugs, this is extremely effective.This is an awesome product and it exceeded all my expecations. I was hoping it would make it through half the summer and keep a few bigger moths out. It has not changed shape at all, the mesh hasn't split, pulled or gotten caught on anything. It is a high-quality product.If you have an awkwardly sized space that you would like a 'door' without having an actual door...this is for.

The media could not be loaded. I just finished screening my outside deck from top to bottom and all around, but needed something to cover the door area. I did use the Velcro tape that came with it, as I used my staple gun. Read too many reviews about the Velcro not lasting especially in windy weather. The instructions were well written, mind you putting this up isn't rocket science. The main thing to keep in mind is your center top Velcro strip. It needs to be an inch higher than your side Velcro strips. As this pulls the screens together. They also noted this in the instructions. Personally I love it and so far it does what it's supposed to do. Magnets are strong but could be a little stronger. I like the added Velcro ties for windy weather. The sticking seems to be very solid and thick material. I will be purchasing another one for my shed as I do a lot of work in there and to many bees and insects bother me. I'd recommend this product. Great quality for the price.
