Not a tight fit for 5/8" holes. While it works it's wobbly and can easily fall out.

I was about to return it because it did not fit my half inch holes, but I saw a review where someone else used an angle grinder to make them slightly shorter to fit. Well, I took out my angle grinder, took two seconds of work, and now they fit. They work great. A little bit loose on the holes, but it holds the items, so it does its job.

I hang bars and bands from these. They work great.

I am using these hooks for barbell storage and change plates. I like the variety these offer for on squat rack storage.
