I landed eight chicks from a Nursery at a school where I work, and by sheer luck all were hens and no longer destined to be snake food.We bought a Coop without a run, but worked on the idea of an enclosure and this was ideal.I bought some fence posts off Wickes to lay down as a base and to fix this too, as we were not 100% sure about ground fixing this to the soil. Construction was fairly quick and easy, although initially we were not totally sure how the door would go - it was basically easier than we thought.It comes with a large amount of wire nettings and you have zip ties to attach this - I'd suggest getting a few more. Also the door has a clever latch, but within the first day this had popped open so some elasticated bungie cords with balls will be your saviour here.There is a weather proof cover that goes over which has coped well with rain and sun, but I did buy a separate tarp that we may switch to in winter. So far we haven't had any water issues, though, chucks are nice and dry, and it's looking to be the business. Now when are they due to start laying....

This product is flimsy. Twisted and broke in the first winds RX of autumn. Spare parts not available. Had to take the whole thing apart in order to get a refund .

3 of the brackets had holes too small for the screws. If a relative didn't have a drill to drill the holes larger, it would have never been put together. So don't buy it unless you have access to a drill that can drill metal.

Easy to put together and plenty of chicken wite to cover. A few more cable ties are needed and I reinforced the base with old stronger metal squares (fire guards) as chicken wore doesn't keep out foxes. Good price I would get again

Good pen but the user manual is useless it’s so unclear on what you need to do and half the poles weren’t labled so ended do it with out the manual

This is brilliant for the price, easy enough to assemble chickens love it

The mesh is very cheap and foxes will get through easily For the price of this product u would think it would come with a nice thick mesh but no the frame doesn’t seem to bad but will see how it holds up
