Best sleeping earplugs I’ve tried
These are fantastic. My spouse is a rattle-the-windows snorer, and I’m a side sleeper—which means finding comfortable earplugs that sufficiently muffle the sound is a massive challenge. These little beauties do the trick. They are super comfortable, easy to use, don’t fall out, and create a dreamy little muffled sound cocoon. I use them with a noise machine like another reviewer suggested, and the combination works great. They don’t block out loud sounds completely, but muffle them enough that they are not disruptive. I highly recommend for a good night’s sleep!

When You Need a Good Night's Sleep
Love these! If you want to assure things will be quiet, these are the perfect solution for a good night's sleep. They're also good to shut off noise when you're trying to study. Highly recommend.

Eco-friendlier. Really comfy! All-around excellent earplugs’
While these aren’t the best sound-blocking earplugs for sleeping, they are still good for that because they’re really comfortable. Also, because they allow you to hear well enough, they are invaluable for singers and other musicians, for concert goers, and for walking on busy streets for th house of us who are exceptionally sensitive to noise pollution (and who wish to keep their hearing!)They are also natural & eco-friendlier! They are made from beeswax and cotton, which is WAY better than the ubiquitous foam plastic ones you see everywhere that will poison our waters and soil for thousands of years to come.I wish the case weren’t plastic, but at least it is recyclable (which, mind you, is no solution to anything, but it’s better than non-recyclable plastics. Still, they should switch to cardboard or metal for their cute boxes).

Love these for a great night's sleep!
I have Post cuncussion syndrome and have VERY sensitive hearing now. Sleep was impossible without waking up over every sound! Luckily I found a tea mix to help me fall asleep and these ear plugs help me stay asleep! I use them for several nights in a row before tossing. They're simply wax and cotton so earth friendly also. I'm VERY thankful for these!

the best earplugs
These cotton wrapped earplugs are the best I have ever used. You can wear them a few times before discarding. Really a good product and I have tried them all!

Cloth-covered wax plugs that wouldn’t stay in place
I couldn’t get them to stay in place; useless

Worked extremely well but caused major issues with my ears
There is a learning curve to using these ear plugs! You have to remove the cotton then roll the ball in your clean hands to soften the wax. My ear canals are tiny so I half one ball for using in both of my ears. Once they are soft, they mold nicely into the ear and cancel almost all noise. I’ve been using them for years, but gradually had to decrease use because they have totally messed up my ears! My ear hygiene has drastically changed. I was never a big wax producer. Now my ears itch uncontrollably, burn and ache. Giant rock hard flakes are constantly being produced now toward the opening with some small sharp sand-like grains and deeper in the canal, dark brown clumps of wax.My ears are now a source of chronic pain and discomfort. I feel especially bad because I recommended them to my adult daughter who also loved them in the beginning, but ended up with a double ear infection (inner and middle) and a perforated ear drum because of these 😩

ADDICTED ... after 20 years of nightly use ... Love my boules
Have been using for over 20 years ... in fact, can't sleep without them. I can hear my alarm clock to wake me, but they muffle everything enough for a sensitive sleeper like me. I have very small ear canals, so after removing the cotton (one reviewer who gave 1 star didn't do this, the cotton is just to keep them from sticking together in packaging) I take one plug and cut it in half with my fingers, roll each side into a ball again and then mold a little protrusion to go into my ear and flatten out the rest a bit on outside of canal - voila, perfect fit. that is the beauty of these, they can be molded to any size canal. If one is too small, try molding two or 1 1/12 plugs together, they're wax and malleable once heated by hands. My husband uses one whole plug and they work great for him too. I have a little box to put them in when I wake and reuse them for quite some time before they start to get hard. I have never had an any type of infection from them, just keep my ears clean. Now I bring them to movie theaters and concerts as well. Foam and rubber plugs do not work for me, they either pop out or don't fit at all. Also, they are wax, a natural material, which is usually better for the body.
