Update: the seller reached out to me and provided me with an upgraded model of this filter for free. It now works perfectly and I have no issue with overflow. I will definitely purchase the updated model next time.If you cannot control your water flow maybe try the cloth one instead. My bath water ran too quickly for this and a lot of it just spilled over the top.

I received an updated version of this product. It still doesn’t hold water volume. I appreciate the manufacturer’s effort to make it right. I hope it fits the needs of most people. Personally I’ll stop trying because it’s been exhausting. It still has chlorine taste, too.

I installed this over the spout on my bathtub, but when I turned the water on, the filter could not contain the flow causing water to overflow the silly looking rubber reservoir, which essentially meant that most of the water going into the tub was unfiltered.This product is so ridiculous that whoever designed it should not be in the design or even thought business, unless they're five years old, then it could be considered laughably cute.

For me this didn’t work great because the water flow is too fast for the filter. So unfiltered water flows out of the top. I’m keeping it because I guess it’s better than nothing.

I love how it makes the water soft. We use it for tub bath/essential oil soaks
