Look no further: Worth Every Dollar and More
I originally bought this rod at a local Big 5 because i desperately needed a trout/panfish rod and this was the first decent option i saw. I absolutely loved it. I later went back to see if I can buy another, but they were sold out. I held and viewed many other UL rods they had in stock, but was unsatisfied with the feel and quality of every rod I touched... They were either heavy, had weird rubbery action/power or the guides were misaligned(Ugly Stick); The Daiwa Crossfire UL is unparalleled in quality/price. So, I bought another Crossfire from amazon to gift to my brother. I highly recommend this rod for anyone getting into UL fishing.

Narrow diameter handle makes for an extremely sensitive blank.
It was purchased for panfish, however repeatedly it handled 1.5lb to 3lb fish and twice pike in the 4.5 to 5lb range. This blows my mind due to this rods diminutive yet classy appearance.
