This vitamin C is made in the United States, which is hard to find. In my personal health and healing research I discovered to my dismay that 95% of the C we get here is from china. I like to buy my supplements from companies that I know have ethical practices and treat their workers with respect and fair wages. I love that this product is clean with NO chemical additives or fillers like dextrose that can cause bloating and weight gain. I also love the fact that there's 500mg of bioflavonoids per each 1,000 mg(1Gram) of vitamin C. This makes for super bioavailability. The bioflavonoids also can help with numerous issues like tinnitus which is often caused by eustachian tube dysfunction. The tinnitus I had has already decreased by about 70% just in a couple weeks of using this. This is also helping me with healthy weight loss. It contains the super food Camu Camu from the rain forest. This is a powerful antioxidant. Due to this wonderful ingredient, the supplement is pretty bitter tasting. This is not a complaint because it's an easy fix. When I mix this in the morning I use a couple of micro spoon scoops of pure stevia from South America. I stay away from the stevia produced here because almost all of it is cut with sub par fillers like dextrose and even worse, erythritol. Erythritol is banned in many European countries because their studies have shown it to be carcinogenic. In this country stevia is basically only touted as a sweetener...but in South America it's valued for its health benefits like regulating blood pressure and metabolism. For me, stevia has become a supplement that happens to be great for sweetening things. (Note on erythritol: I know that there are products that say 'organic erythritol,' but I'm not buying it, figuratively or literally.) Anyway using the stevia works to decrease the bitterness and makes it easy to drink. I take 2,000 mg of this daily and it still seems like it will be enough to last a month, so I think it's a good value on a premium product. I will be buying this for life if possible! I would like to subscribe for monthly deliveries, but I stopped doing that with products here on Amazon because the payments always came out of my account way too soon and don't work with my paydays. (So for me, it doesn't end up being subscribe and save, but more like, subscribe and overdraft my account.) I appreciate that this powder is made entirely from natural vitamin C. Although it has a noticeably strong, bitter flavor from the grapefruit skin, this taste is less prevalent when mixed with a smoothie or juice. Personally, I don't mind the natural taste and I prefer it over artificial flavors, even if they could make the powder taste better.

This powder is a natural product that is likely better for your health than other alternatives. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, this is possibly the most horrible tasting stuff I have ever drunk. It is very bitter and has some kind of plant-like taste that adds to the bitterness. I am starting to get used to it and just have to hold my nose to swallow. If you like barley green and grapefruit juice the taste may not be as bad for you. Just keep in mind the taste is abnormally bitter.

I ordered this product and dissolved it in water per directions. I took one sip and immediately spit it out! It was the worst taste I've had in my mouth since the last time I had the stomach flu. I tossed it in the garbage and gargled with mouthwash to get the horrible taste out of my mouth. Do yourself a favor and find another product that is palatable. This stuff is awful.

This is the only Vitamin C powder I found that contains bioflavonoids, which helps with better absorption of Vitamin C.Although this Vitamin C powder may have a slightly bitter taste, it dissolves quite well in a glass of water with honey or in a smoothie with almond milk and fruits.

Love the taste. Easily mixes in with collagen smoothies. Price point is better than most.

Easy to use and strength of product. Will buy again.
