Guillows Hawker Hurricane

5 Stars because I bought this model to practice working with balsa wood with hope that in future I can build my own models from scratch.This model covers all the basic building techniques, with simple step by step instructions. This is the first time I have used a Paul Guillows product but was so happy with the outcome I have already ordered another model from the same series.I would recommend this product to anyone who is interesting in balsa models, but please be aware it does involve the use of craft knife and other products that are not included with the kit, so a supervising adult would be required with regards to children making and finishing of this product. I would also advise looking into at the step by step guide into making balsa models on the Paul Guillows website to discover exactly what is required to make and finish this kit if this is the first time you will be making at balsa kit.

Not too good, the balsa fittings are too soft and liable to break during assembly, otherwise reasonably good.

Ok built up very well, some bits removed from box according to instructions

Good kit but not as good as the Keil Kraft version I once built.

To replace model almost completely finished before accident. Good value. Delivered early.

1/16th stringers get to be delicate as you progress with the model, however generally very happy with the product, and am looking at larger models.
