I have owned the OG Guardian Angel for many years now. During this time I have mainly utilized the Shock Mount adapter for the device. One of the things I wanted to achieve with this accessory was the ability to quickly attach and remove the device on my External Vest carrier.Device Strength:With the other mounts I was having to fish them through the strap and then hope it stayed. That is not the case with this mount.The Jaw Spring is decently string. It opens with ease with user input but I have not seen it slide off the strap or fail when I was walking around. The internal part of the Jaw has angle holders that allow the device to sit securely on your strap. I tugged on the device multiple times to see how it would move and I feel the magnet would release first before the strap came off.Mounting Positions:There are only two Mounting Positions on this device compared to some of the other mounts that have up to 4.1.) Vertical- Only way to hard mount2.) HorizontalOverall the mount is worth the expense. For ease of use.

It works, I guess. Not the best thing ever invented, but it does the job it was made for. Sometimes it can be a-bit flimsy and after bit of movement, it will fall off.
