Is this stainless inside?

No. The sheet pan and web basket quickly acquire unremovable stains from reheating frozen fried foods. They must be washed with strong dish soap after use or they'll smell like rancid cooking oil. Amazon sells Casaware 11 by 9 by 2 baking pans and Walooza 11 by 9 by 1 baking sheets, both made with heavy steel coated with ceramics, far better than the original equipment, and make this air fryer usable as a convection oven. KRUPS made baking stones in the perfect size and shape for making flatbread pizzas in it a few years back too! So at its current $100 price, this can be a versatile oven.

What is capacity of this model in quarts? (I know it can hold 2.5 pounds of meat) Need to compare to other brands which provide only quart capacity.

Does the drip tray need to be washed each use?

i use a wallmart multicolor decorated paper plate when i cook burggers & chicken strips in another brand air fryer it helps tremendously w/clean up put remember dont go up to 451 or the plate will catch fire ---- i usually cook at 320 or less --- mine is a faberage [spelling] drawer type w/basket the plate is a tad 2 big so it need folded up around the edge --- this helps with catching the burger grease --- just say n [but i may be an idiot do not try this at home lol i only been doing it a year or so]

I am new to air frying and have burned food by following the directions. Any suggestions to cook and not burn?

Air frying: use the recommended temperature in your recipe, preheat for 5 minutes, stir or turn as directed. Baking: reduce the temperature by 25 degrees, preheat for 5 minutes, and reduce the amount of cooking time. Definitely check food when you can smell it! At first we burnt a few things, but using these adjustments, we get good results every time. The air fryer is powerful and you can air fry just about everything- vegetables, meats, leftovers, etc. For a small family, this little oven has been a great investment.
