Very sturdy, heavy duty spreader. It takes about 30 mins to assemble but is much better quality than most. Also the handle height is adjstable, so no more bending down as you have to with other spreaders.

Once you have put this together it is a reasonably good product but the instructions to build it are not great - pictures are not clear so it takes longer than it should.

Delivery was amazingly quickThe instructions written in English by someone from China included smelling miffteks !The pictures are a joke requiring a magnifying glass and the construction differs from the pictures on the box! This took me 4.25 hours to assemble using all my 36.5 years as a Detective to make any sense!What a nightmare!!After 14 monthsI purchased this spreader on 28th January 2020I used it in March and September 2020 in our relatively large private garden. After use I brushed it off and stored it inside our external tool shed which is dryI went to it recently March 2021 and the spreader had almost completely rusted outThe release mechanism was jammed and the connecting Rod immediately broke away from the spreader plate rendering it useless for spreadingThe left hand wheel was totally seized and immovable after using it twice over 12 months.The metal parts had in places become unbelievably rusted and seized.I wish I had read and complied with the Amazon Reviews about this spreader had I done so I would not be in this position.This is a VERY Poorly made piece of kitThe photographs speak volumes ! After reading the reviews I was a little concerned on the instructions review the product itself is very very good and it is strong robust I can't complain but ? After 1 hour I had enough I called the customer help line spoke to one gentleman on the parts side who told me to contact customer service,ok so I did just that I told the lady I was struggling on the plastic inner and outer wheel bushes on how they fit And I can't be the first person to enquire about this from amazon reviews do you have better instructions /photos and within 2 minutes Laurie on customer service came to the rescue and emailed me with better photos within 30 minutes I was All finished building it so top marks to Laurie, I hope the photos help what I post but the machine once built is quality and good value and works perfectly much better than the £35 plastic rubbish from a garden centre also to mention its for the larger garden i.e. Half acre upwards

The instructions for this are absolutely useless, the quality is poor for what it is and how much it cost. Really disappointed and i haven't even used it yet!!!!!

Once assembled this device works well and seems robust. It is easy to use, fast and effective.The assembly is pretty straightforward from the written instructions but would be made easier if there was a link to a current video to follow.It takes a little practice to balance the amount to open the feed with the speed of walking. The device spreads granular product well.Remember to close the feed before stopping and open it after starting.Would buy again.

As others have said, the assembly is tricky, mainly because the diagrams don't have enough detail in them.There's a bit of a learning curve to use it. My first time I ended up seriously overdosing the lawn with "weed and feed" because the wing nut to limit the rate of application needs to be REALLY tight, otherwise you go straight to maximum rate without knowing about it.Still, it's a far better job than the cheap gadgets from other companies that don't work properly - with this spreader you can cover the area quickly and thoroughly.

Excellent BUT believe the reviews regarding instructions. They’re rubbish however once assembled very pleased.
