Fits snugly and feels strong.

Top section of cover fitted the Rear of the Surface 3 screen perfectly.Unfortunately the bottom cover was very poorly fitting and popped off when the screen was folded back any further than 90 degrees.Tolerances are tight at the hinge as the surface is not as rounded as a Mac, where I’ve seen this type of cover successfully used.Could have been a manufacturing fault with the item I was sent, but the supplier chose not to reply to my request to replace/remedy the situation.Good old Amazon refunded me anyway, although the item is unusable!Avoid and go for a simple sleeve.

Incorrect product sent. Ordered cover for Surface Laptop but received cover for Surface Book. Product feels flimsy hopefully better when it is on the laptop but I can’t tell as incorrect product sent.

The translucent middle to show the logo of the computer is too dark to be able to see. But is the durability of the shells are great.

**Contents**1 x Hardshell case for Surface laptopI purchased this to obviously protect my surface laptop from scratches and dings as I am a bit paranoid. I have a case on my Macbook pro which is like a soft matt material which looks and feels good and I obviously wanted one for this too to match and protect it. This arrived in a fairly cheap looking clear bag which was open upon arrival which straightaway looked quite cheap with no care put into the presentation to the customer. Once I removed the product from the packaging I noticed the material felt quite thin which when you take into consideration this is designed to protect your laptop from dings and scratches... Yet feels really thin it does not inspire much confidence that it can, in fact, protect your gadget. With this in mind, I decided to try it out anyway as there really isn't anything on the market like this for the surface laptop yet which is an annoyance but anyway I installed it onto my surface laptop which was pretty easy and snapped into place with no problems. This is where I was less than impressed with this product as It snapped onto the laptop fine however the material they have chosen to make this case is a rough feeling plastic which is a fingerprint magnet and once they are on there it is very difficult to get them off with a micro fibre cloth which annoys the hell out of my OCD so I found myself constantly cleaning the case with cleaning solution which does not really want you to want or expect from a case which costs the price this one does. The other issue is that the legs can raise up with means you can elevate this laptop for an angled view which in theory sounds really useful however the first time I tried this feature out the leg on the right side literally came off in my hand so I had to sit there for about 5 minutes trying to reattach it which I managed to do but now I fear using the legs will result in it coming off again so I do not use the legs anymore which renders them kind of pointless, to be honest. The next thing which is an annoyance is that this case will make your laptop slide around your desk surface really easy which when your trying to type a lengthy bit of text can get very annoying. The next thing I did not like but this one is just personal preference on my part is that in the picture of this product it quite clearly shows off the surface laptop within the case and the windows logo being visible which would suggest this is a clear see-through material however it is not as once you get the case installed you can not see the windows logo at all which again bugs me for some reason. The last and final issue for me which was enough to make me remove this from my surface and not use it as I do not want to take the risk. This was where the case sits between the screen hinge and the side of the surface laptop there is a wedge that sticks out and everytime you open and close your laptop the screen and this wedge are literally rubbing together and if you hold the screen and move it you can feel the screen being pushed ever so slightly out as glides over this wedge and I am sure that over time this would cause some damage to the hinge or the screen and I am not willing to risk that.To sum this up with some questions and answers:Does this case fit the surface laptop? Yes it does fit and it fits quite well from my testing Aside from the screen issueDoes the case look the same as pictured on the post? In terms of design, Yes it does, however, the case is not see through like the picture suggestsDo the legs function as you would expect? No, they do not as mine broke off within a few minutes use and now I am not willing to risk using them again as they may break off againDoes the material feel how you would expect? No, I was expecting a smooth feel material instead you get a rough unappealing case which attracts fingerprints like crazyDoes this case prevent the laptop from sliding around on the desk? No it does not and this is because they have only included 2 rubber feet on the bottom as the legs extend at the rear so you have 2 rubber feet on the front which do not make enough contact with the desk surface to grip well enough and there are no rubber feet on the backside of the laptop which results in your laptop being free to slide aroundFor the price, I expected a much better case and I think with some tweaks this could have been a good case however as it stands I simply do not recommend this case.

Claims it fits the Surface 3 Laptop, it doesn't. As others have said the bottom cover just pops off when past 90 degrees. As my colleague pointed out when they saw it, this looks cheap. Dreadful product.
