I LOVE this light. It provides a perfect amount of light for my studies. I am a university physics student- long hours working equations at my desk and this is a very calming light that provides a peaceful setting. Highly recommend. Great quality. Great packaging. Very durable and well built lamp! The shade is made of heavy duty thick glass and is adjustable to provide just the right amount of light. The body has a sufficient weight and the brass base brings a touch of modern to an antique design. Overall just a wonderful product in my opinion.

This green banker's light looks great. I saw less expensive ones but I didn't want any issues with broken, scratched, chipped or bubbly glass. This one came in very good condition with no visible issues.FYI, this green banker's lamp DOES NOT have a dimmer. Maybe some other lamps on this listing do, but this doesn't.Lighting is pretty even throughout using the tube-style LED bulbs. I got the 2200K bulb and it looks nice. But...now I have to buy a dimmer. This little project is starting to add up in cost.

I read tons of reviews on various banker's lamps before I selected this one due to its overall high rating and customer satisfaction. I'm thrilled I chose this banker's lamp. It is perfect! It arrived quickly, was carefully packed, was flawless in design, and was easy to assemble. It complements my dark wooden desk and office accessories. I use a Himalayan Salt light, which creates the perfect light and ambiance. Thank you for creating a quality product that meets my high standards. Five stars!

I used my birthday gift card to buy this lamp to use beside my bed. It has its quirks, and I'll get to those in a moment. However, the good outweighs the bad, not to mention that I think it's gorgeous. I'm not usually a decorator, and we don't spend big on home furnishings, but this lamp made me smile every time I entered the room for about a month, and I am tickled with it.Apart from its appearance--I have a weakness for frosted glass and old-fashioned looking lamps--I like its practicality. It's stable, yet the base doesn't take up a lot of space. I have a small night table and this lamp cannot be the only thing on it. The narrow, curved neck and round base that's about the size of a saucer makes it less likely to go flying off the table if I reach for something when I am half asleep. Then there's ease of cleaning. Lamps that have a lot of gingerbread trim or that have a rough surface, such as those with metal or ceramic bases with a zillion tiny holes or diamonds or what have you, are dust collectors. Dog hair will get inside, and oh just try to clean them. I've learned my lesson the hard way and would not do that again. Cloth lampshades get fly spotted and over time become dingy; lamp shades are so expensive these days that you may just as well replace the whole lamp. This lamp, in contrast, has relatively simple lines that a dust cloth can easily wipe, and the glass shade is much easier to care for. So that's the practical end of it.The downside has to do with the switch. I do like the fact that there's a dimmer on it, but the dimmer is way down the cord near the floor. It's a pain in the butt to have to reach down for it. It's too short a cord to hang over my headboard. And there's something wrong with the spring, at least in the one that I have and so perhaps in all of them. The lamp works fine when it's turned to the equivalent of a 40 watt bulb or higher, but at bedtime I would like to be able to leave it on at about 25 watts. I dim the bulb before I go to sleep. Fine. And about a minute after I let go of the cord, it goes almost all the way off, so that you can barely see the lamp in the darkened bedroom. I want it a little brighter so I don't step on the dog's toys when I get up in the night, but no matter how many times I readjust it, it adjusts itself right back again.Neither of these quirks is a deal breaker for me, although it might be for you. I am still quite pleased with this lamp, far too much so to be without it long enough to send it back and wait for another one. It's mine, and I'm keeping it.

A solid brass base. Very tasteful addition to the den. As soon as I ordered it, I thought "crap" this will look junky, and the glass shade will arrive in 1,000 pieces. Quite to the contrary, it appears to be much more expensive than it is. Carefully wrapped to arrive with no damage. Didn't need it, but it arrives with a card telling the purchaser that if there is any damage, or it's not what you want, contact seller, and they will make it right, without having to return to lamp. Takes standard T10 60W bulb which is all you need to put it together.

This lamp is very elegant looking - I really like the wood used for the base and detail on the glass lampshade is neat. The dimmer switch is awesome as it can be on low or bright enough to read by. It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but that's my mistake as the measurements were provided. All in all, very happy with this purchase & I'd definitely buy again - both the product & from the company.

Too bad the lamp arrived with the glass shattered to pieces. It's a beautiful lamp to sit on a Desk. It's sturdy, well made and pleasant to look at. I wish there's a way to ship items like this one securely. Manufacturers/sellers should find a way to deliver items safely to buyers. I'm returning the lamp for a refund. However, I might be tempted to re-order the same lamp, may be I get lucky the second time around.

The 2 lights I purchased were an attractive addition to the the vintage decor I was looking for on the nightstands for each side of the bed in my guest bedroom. My nightstands are level with the mattress and I these lights are a nice height next to the bed. The dimmer switch is a plus for my guest to use as a night light or a reading light. They came in a well packaged box. Just as a reminder if you use an LED light bulb purchase one that is dimmable.
