Work really well. Saves on cables
Great idea to turn your standard cat 5 cable unto power over Ethernet. No instructions supplied on how to connect but it's fairly straight forward

Handy little gem
Worked brilliantly for analogue cameras well made recommend

Ethernet doesnt work
Power fine but no instructions for ethernet working. Plugging standard patch cable in at both ends doesn't work. Wondering if I need a crossover cable. Now having to search reference to find pin out configuration. No instructions a pain and wasting my time.Found pin1 and pin 2 TX shorted on one end. No wonder they didn't work. Moral test before you try. If you have a tester!!

Know what you are buying
Anyone saying this these devices cannot possibly work because they are not fully wired is wrong, 10 & 100Mb/s only needs two pairs (Orange & Green) of wires out of the four for Data in a standard Ethernet cable, these devices effective strip out the other two pairs (Blue & Brown) between your network switch & the remotely located device & use these pairs to extend the power, the RJ45 plugs connect into your switch & the same at the remote end, the female RJ45 sockets connect to your cabling between the local & remote locations. You are never going to get Gigabit speeds from these devices as 1Gbs needs all four pairs within the Ethernet cable, I tried mine ovver my longest cable run of around 35m & they worked fine, cabling quality & distance will affect the ability for these to work effectively.I'm using mine to power a 4G/LTE router which is loacted in the loft as that's where it gets the best 4G/LTE signal, I could easily run an Ethernet cable to the loft but not mains power, for me these PoE injector/splitters are a godsend as my 4G speed only peaks at 35Mb/s well within the 100Mb/s that in theory would be possible using these devices. Now for the negative bit, my first set that I ordered were faulty, the injector end had a faulty connection on one of the Data pairs that only worked if the wires were wiggled to get the sweet spot, I ordered another set which were fine & sent back the faulty ones for a refund, luckily I have an Ethernet cabling tester & so I was able to prove what was going on.

One wire (cat 5) solution to data and power feed.
One wire (cat 5) solution to data and power feed. Works perfectly.

Great for passive PoE
These basic passive PoE injectors allow you to inject basically any voltage you want at one end of an Ethernet cable, then break it out into a normal barrel connector at the other end, or don’t break it out at all for devices that require passive PoE rather than 802.3af or 802.3at.I have used these to pass 12v, 20v and 24v through an Ethernet cable to remote devices that also require an Ethernet connection.

It works as expected, T568B wrong colours for pins 1,2,3 and 6.
We expect you to follow standards. Neither T568B nor T568A colours were used. Please use the correct colour codes for Pins. Some day {perhaps D + 117} the RJ45 will break, some poor soul will have to figure out what colour goes where on what pin.

Works perfectly
