Works great on my Icom 2730A
With my radio mounted under the seat, the microphone cable was too short. Adding this, I have more than enough cable and had to loop it under the seat. I haven't tested all functions, but the mic sounds great, ptt works, I can change vfo/channel modes, and enter frequencies. Looks and feels as rugged as the existing mic cable.

Great cable
I had hoped that it would work with my Icom V8000, and it did do the job, I needed the extention for working a race event, so that I would not stress out the stock cable and modular connectors, very pleased with this cable, once I confirm that it works with other radios I have, I will buy more.

Defective
The clip that holds the extender into the radio is not present. Does NOT stay in the radio. USELESS!!!
