This worked perfectly for me! I pulled out my dryer to clean behind it and notice the original one had a tear in it, and it was kinked and massively long for the space. Went on Amazon quickly found this and for the price I thought I’d give it a try. It is absolutely perfect. I am a 61 year-old senior and I was able to get back there and install it. It fit perfectly And I love the little yellow handles to tighten the clamp. Super easy for my arthritic hands. Excellent value for the money, very durable, good quality and perfect!

Got this as a replacement of our old dryer hose which somehow ended up with a huge rip in it. This hose was much better quality than expected, it felt thick and sturdy and I feel reassured that it won't rip/tear as easily as the old one did. It fit over the vents perfectly and it was very easy to install. The length is also perfect for the small space behind the dryer. Great value, works well, would recommend

Dryer vents are one of those things in a house that we don't often think twice about. They're just there and they do their job. I've had the same vent on my dryer for years. I recently peeked behind my dryer and noticed that it had become a little crimped, which hampered air flow, which causes a number of potential problems.THIS... was such a pleasant surprise! There was no fancy wrapping. It was simply wrapped in clear plastic. The build feels very sturdy. There are rings at the ends for the clamps. The clamps themselves have small handles to tighten and loosen them without tools. Whoever thought of that is amazing!!! The handles made the clamps very easy to put on and tighten.I bought the 3' length, and would absolutely buy this specific brand again. I am so impressed with the quality and the idea of the hand tightening handles. Not needing tools for that is fantastic! Having bashed my knuckles using screw drivers and socket wrenches over the years, it was so nice to just put it on and be done.I like this so much that I even included the picture, which I almost never do. This was such a great purchase for such a seemingly minor thing.

The existing vent tube was roughly 8 ft, and stretched too far. Not nearly long enough for where my dryer is. Orange big box store had a 25 ft tube, which was far too long, for about $30. I bought the 12 ft bad boy and installed it tonight. I really like that it came with butterfly hose clamps. Super easy to installed, stretched out nicely, and still have several feet of tubing if I need to move my dryer. While not super thick, it feels sturdy, and it should last a long time.

Exhaust duct seemed ok. I thought I would prefer the ring clamps with the hand-turned key but the yellow part is too big to be able to tighten, in some spots (like where the duct contracts to the back of the dryer). Had to use my old clamp with the screw. At least with the screw, it's skinny enough to tighten with a screw driver. It was easy to tighten/use though, where it had space at least.

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but this hose was perfect! I had to buy a different one due to the one I got from Lowes being too big and smashed. This hose was a thousand times easier to install. What took me 20 minutes with the first, took me 3 minutes with this one. It's also a lot easier to move around and compress into a smaller size to give you more space.

I was getting a new dryer from Home Depot. I decided I better clean the dryer exhaust pipe (since I had not done so since moving in). Ugh... Too much lint. After vacuuming and sweeping I just threw away the old light weight flexible pipe that was still lint encrusted. Then I made the mistake of buying a semi-rigid pipe- too heavy- and I could not for the life of me attach it to the ceiling pipe that vented to the outside- it was too heavy- and aluminum tape would not secure it and i could not force the crimped end onto the outdoor pipe extension. And my old arthritic hands kept fumbling those stupid worm clamps trying to hold them in place, hold the pipe and turn a screwdriver at the same time. Then I saw this product- had a good feeling and ordered it. It felt MUCH more well made, heavy duty compared to my old exhaust vent pipe but nowhere near as heavy and unyielding as the semi rigid tube that totally stymied all my efforts to install. This worked like a dream- easy to connect, handle, and quickly tightened down with those yellow paddles, then smoothed into place with thick aluminized duct tape. I felt like a real handy man for sure even though I am all thumbs. And I was ready for the delivery and install of my new dryer! Yaaa !!! 😀👍

Great product. Seems thicker than my prior one, and the thumb screws on both ends made for an easy, tool free install.
