Amazing experience
Amazing experience. With a fine nib I can write more than 4 lines of text using Pilot ink like Kon-peki

Nice idea
Nice idea and looks good. I realize that it's not intended to write a lot but it holds so little ink that it is easy to lose patience. It was difficult to write more than a couple of words with consistent ink flow. I love Pilot fountain pens and was hoping for a better experience.

Great tool for evaluating inks
The Pilot iro-utsushi Dip Pen is an excellent tool for evaluating fountain pen inks. The quality nib easily rinses clear. So much easier than filling a fountain pen and then having to clean the fountain pen between ink changes.Of course the iro-utsushi works wonderfully for writing as long as you don't mind frequent dipping. It is after all a dip pen.The package also includes a Pilot ballpoint pen that I doubt I or anyone reading this will ever use.
