Risk with a twist
This is great fun, as a Risk fan most people get used to which regions they want to occupy and have a general plan in mind already. This version is great because it throws all of that previous planning out of the window due to the map being different and it being difficult at first glance to relay the areas to those of the original.The quality is great and the fact that it is essentially the game of Risk means that it is already famed for being one of the best strategic war board games that was ever designed so to add the places and characters of Lord of the Rings makes it even better.Middle Earth tends to make anything more interesting and fun in my mind.

Entertaining board game.
This is a great game for any Lord of the Rings fans out there. It is for players aged 10 years and up and is best played with 2 to 4 players the more the merrier i say.The board itself is unique and displays a map of middle earth, it is also very detailed and comes complete with 240 custom pieces that range from Riders, Orcs, Archers and Elves. It is a long game and it did take me a while to get into it but it's an enjoyable game nonetheless.A free Top Trump card is included which is cool. The reason i removed a star was because the cellophane arrived ripped and torn, i didn't mind as it has been played on family games nights but if this game was intended to be given as a gift that might be a problem?

Lotr & Risk what's not to like
A refreshing take on classic risk with a lotr spin, some of the core rules remain but there are a few key differences which set it apart and make it super enjoyable.
