VARIOSAN safety inlet hose, 3/4 inch aquastop for washing machine and dishwasher

Brought for attending cold feed to my washing machine in the garage , working well for the last few months , would buy again for the peace of mind

Found the old hose to the washing machine (Samsung EcoBubble) had a nasty kink in so got this as a replacement. It seems sturdy and kink-proof with the ribbed outer hose. Fitted very easily and as it was slightly longer than the old hose it was easier to fit on the screw couplings.

A bit fiddly to fit in a confined space due to restricted flexibilty of the hose and movement on the connector where the machine has to be moved into situ after connection. For peace of mind is well worth the cost.

This has done the job perfectly. Arrived before promised delivery date and allowed me to connect my machine with success. I had originally contacted AEG (as the manual said only for genuine hose). I was promised a call back in TWO days’ time, which never occurred.

Just the same as the original but with red ends instead of blue. Cold water feed only so no confusion. Fitted easily to AEG lavamat L64840L.

I bought one of these less than a year ago and it started to leak today (this is the second one with the same problem in the last 5 years). The purpose of a safety valve is that it is supposed to detect leaks and switch the valve off - but as the leak is occurring between the body of the safety valve and the screw connector it simply doesn't work. As far as I can tell there is no advantage to having one of these compared to a well fitted standard hose.
