Quiet and does its job!
This stripper is well worth the money! I have no problems with it. Just take the time to set up each gauge of wire you are going to strip and it will serve you well!

Best stripper I ever used. Junkin for 30 years
This stripper was very well designed by people who obviously were tired of the same problems people have. I am a second generation Junker. My son will be the third. We all hold full time jobs and my father myself and my son enjoy junking to make extra money and sometimes make more than you do at your regular job. This machine was money well spent. My father cannot move the heavy tons of material it takes to make good money junking anymore. He has always loved his precious metals and enjoys now just sitting in a chair and stripping wire with this machine. If you r thinking about going with a cheaper model save your money till you can afford this. The only thing we did to change this machine was add a electric on off foot pedal switch. That’s it. Cannot wait to buy a larger model for the big stuff thanks again stripmeister for building the e250

If you recycle, you may want this tool.
I ordered the "Original Stripmeister" because I do a lot of electrical work and repairs. I have barrels of wire sitting in my shop waiting to be recycled. My local recycle center gives you 50% more for stripped wire over the coated stuff. After trying the original tool out, I found it to be a bit slower and awkward to use. Feeding the wire and running the drill just wasn't what I wanted to do with this much wire to strip. So I stepped up and bought the E250, this was only one week later. Yeah, that was the right choice. I pulled it out of the box, set in on the table, plugged it in, followed the adjustment instructions and fired away. I was stripping wire in less than 15 minutes. Once you set the depth, test your cut, adjust the feed speed, just let it run and feed it wire. I didn't turn the machine off until I ran out of space on the back side of my table from the mountain of wire piling up. It does not remove the coating for you, so you will still have to do that. Once you get in the groove, it goes really fast. If you do the same type of work as I do, you will want this machine. Yes, it is a little pricey, but your time is worth something, and this will save you in the long run. My small original machine now stays in my truck, I strip wire while I'm on lunch break, so I now get paid to eat. I hope this was helpful.

Stripping copper
I ordered this and it has been such a blessing to make extra money. This stripper has made it so much easier to do it. The machine actually works great pulling the copper in and push’s it out fast. Cuts the plastic away from the copper itself. However it does not work with copper in conduit. So far I’ve had to remove the conduit by hand. But the stripper is great for everything else. FACTS: go ahead and purchase the extra BLADES when purchasing it makes it easier to get the right ones. DONT GO CHEAPER WHEN ORDERING EXTRA BLADES!! Thanks, I hope this helps!!!

Works as advertised
Works pretty good just need to watch as you’re feeding certain sizes of wire and kind of “steer” it so it stays on the blade.

WORTH the xtra $$ cost over the original
I've run the original (drill powered) for 2-3 years now. I should've just pony'd up for this motor version then. I had a rule of thumb not to strip down #10 or smaller...I missed out on miles of bare bright!!!!! I can't stress the value of running the motor & having both hands to process the backside. As an electrician, this is just the icing I needed to really justify the real estate the bins take up. This machine has made it super fun to make $10hr 😄

Great!
So easy to use and a great money maker. I like the variable speed control. The E-250 is even better than I expected it to be. Very well built

Machine appears to be well made except for the electric motor .
Received this wire stripper , set it up and was ready to begin work , plugged it in and nothing . after searching the box it came in there was a set of brushes for the motor seemed odd to me , why? I called customer service and did not receive much troubleshooting help , so at that point made a decision to send it back and ask for a refund , the machine itself seems well made but the electric motor is junk , very cheap , expected better for the price . If you have 12ga or a small amount of 10ga wire this might handle what you have anything larger do not buy this . Had issues with going back and forth with customer service and finally had to get Amazon involved before i could send it back . This is the only manufacturer that is located in North America , that is why i ordered it , but made with Chinese parts , you will be able to find another machine same quality or better for a lot less money .
