HERDEZ Taquera Salsa, Medium, 7 oz. Can (12-Pack)

My husband loves this salsa, but you cannot find it in store anymore. Thank goodness for Amazon! The price was perfect and we have a stockpile for him to use at home. The salsa is nice and thick, and not watery, and not too spicy. Probably a mild plus heat level. The cans are the perfect size to take with you.

I used this product with tostitos cheese dip with tortilla chips Very good product. I wanted to make a chicken and cheese dip with this product but never got around to it but I think it would but delicious.

this is good salsa. has a strong flavor that makes it no so good with just chips but better with more complex foods such as steak and eggs.

Good Salsa however spicier then thought it would be.

I have always enjoyed salsas from Herdez and this Taquera sauce is sparking with flavor. Medium is on the hot side and ideal for me with its heat and flavor. Treat yourself. Mike

We love this salsa and haven’t been able to find it in stores. I saw the other review that mentioned crushed cans but took a chance anyway. These two cans we discarded for safety reasons. The remaining 10 also had dents here and there, all obviously made before packing. I can’t help but suspect the manufacturer is sending cans they don’t want to put on grocery shelves to Amazon where people can’t see the damage ahead of time. I won’t be buying these from Amazon again. I hope they appear in stores. (The best by date is May 2025. The last one we have in our pantry is dated October 2024. Hoping that means they are still in production.)As for the salsa, it is a Mexican medium, not an American medium. I won’t just eat it with chips (too hot for me after a few) but a little on a taco or mixed in with shredded chicken while reheating for tacos, yum!

This is an excellent salsa. It’s perfect for street tacos
