I found it easy to put together on my own, took about 45 mins, used it the following day to smoke a whole chicken, temperature gauge worked fine, took a while to get up to 250 but once there it cooked the chicken perfectly, some smoke escaping when I put on the wood chips I bought but still cooked and flavoured the chicken well, body is a quite light weight and not solid but sturdy enough if it’s cared for properly, for the price I think it’s well worth it and can’t wait to try out other stuff

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband and was slightly disappointed in it. After he opened it we noticed that the top had a dent in it.Then when putting it together they had sent wrong size screws and not enough bolts, lucky enough we had some left over from other projects in the past.But that being said it was easy enough to put together. Haven't yet cooked on.

The good first of all:It's cheap but works brilliantly as a garden smoker. I have completed 4 cooks in it now and once you get a feel for it, it's a breeze to use. The different levels and the water bath make it easy to smoke low and slow (I get a consistent 105-110c with charcoal and wood with all vents closed). If you want any lower than that then you might struggle unless you are prepared to run a low fire and tend it often. Overall, I'm super pleased with it for my smokesThe bad:Really only one and it doesn't really matter for me as I use electronic temp probes but the built in thermometer is totally inaccurate. I currently have a grill temp of 105c on my probe and the thermometer is showning 65c. Not a game changer for me and if I were bothered I'd simply change it outOverall, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat - sure, the metal is thin and will dent easily but it's £50! I could run this for a season and buy another if I needed to but if looked after, it'll serve you well

Not bad, easy to construct - though one faulty nut needed replacing - very flimsy and temperature gauge is woefully inaccurate.Should last a year or two, ideal as a start to see if you like smokers.

The media could not be loaded. Sent back, but still waiting for refund !!When putting together the wrong number of screws were in the package, managed to put together but not very stable. The thermometer with it doesn't work at all. The coating on the outside is bubbling and peeling. The doors don't fit flush so smoke come pouring out of there too.Really disappointing and would not recommend at all.

For £40, what can I say! Smokers perfectly (ok, it's a bit leaky but still does the job). Build instructions are not great, definitely look online for a build video and save the headache! Perfect for the job I need it to do!

Bought the smoker in April due to bad weather couldn’t use for a while but when I did it worked well all but for the temperature gauge which didn’t contacted both the supplier Fiest4spare and Amazon for a replacement gauge but all I got was an automated email response with no reply from the supplier or Amazon poor show on both counts.
