Actually got here in time ( imagine that ) Kit is actually very nicewill work nice.

I'm a big hiker and wanted something compact and lightweight to add to my hiking pack. My friend got bit by a rattlesnake last year and after seeing his wounds I wanted to get something to help in case this happens to me or one of my hiking companions. I've encountered several snakes while hiking and it gives me some piece of mind having this in my pack. I would highly recommend this product for the price.

I purchased this kit over a year ago because it includes a snake bite kit that many first aid kits do not have. I really like the compact zipper design, the American Red Cross like red coloring, and the easy to access pouches. I had not needed to use it until recently. I am so thankful to have had this in my car!The bandage, wipes, and gauze were quickly used up on an injury. My mother fell and scraped the skin off of her knee. The contents were enough to absorb and clean up the first couple minutes of bleeding.I had already added some extra wipes into the kit, but they weren't even enough as the wound's bleeding continued. Thankfully a sheriff was nearby and gave us a 4 inch bandage.I then used the bandage wrap to secure the gifted bandage and compress the wound until we reached our destination about an hour away to clean the wound further.The tape included did not stick to the bandage wrap at all, it's useless, I already tossed it.For future use I am adding self adhesive bandage wrap, large 5×6(+) bandages, more guaze, many more wipes, various medicine packets, and topical ointments for various issues.I would like to add even more to my traveling first aid kit like hot and cold compresses, wound disinfectant spray, etc, but need more room. I would love a design like this, 4 inch binder sized when closed with a handle and water proof would be a great feature too! I will look around more, but really wish it looked like this!Thanks again for the help in having the basics when I needed it. It is so much easier to remain calm seeing a family member's blood, knowing you have a kit to assist nearby!

For its price - it's an awesome lifehack for issues beyond poison sucking. Works to suck out puss, or drain a sebaceous cyst. Well designed, did not leak air and thus had all the suction power you'd expect and hope for.

Have not had to use it yet, Thank God as we do have mamy rattle snakes. I just feel good that I did purchase it and can use it if I do ever get bit and it will help to get the poisen out before I go in to see a Doctor and it is to late. everyone should have this on had if they are in a rattle snake area.
