These are very nice socks. They hold up to hot water wash and machine dry. The elastic on one sock out of the 6 pair shows some stretching but still holds well on the leg. My husband had to wear black socks for years in his work so it's fun to see him with some colorful ones.

These are fantastic socks. Just enough flair to add some color without being too loud. For thickness, they sit right between dress socks (usually too thin for active wear) and athletic socks (usually too thick for dress/casual dress shoes). I am an avid walker, and I wear these in casual dress shoes (Cole Haan, Ecco, etc.), and they fit comfortably. For longer lunch-hour walks, I can change into a pair of walking shoes and keep these socks on and they remain comfortable.So far, no pilling after washing. If you're familiar with argyle socks, there's always a bit of threat-ends on the inside of the sock where the argyle pattern comes together. In a lot of socks, my toes will catch on these threads when putting the sock on. Not these - there's a small amount of thread ends on the argyles, but nothing that catches your toes. The striped socks are my favorites.So far, these are on the 'buy it again' list after I wear them out. Great colors and patterns.

These socks exceeded all my expectations. I originally bought them for the look and the price. I was amazed by the quality of the socks. These are not the thin almost non-existent socks that you normally find at this price. These socks provide all day comfort and have become my go to socks for everyday wear.
