This is a pretty hot chilli raspberry jam that goes well with a cheeseboard selection. The chilli heat is high, lip-numbingly so, and it therefore won’t suit all palates, but adds a good amount of taste and, in particular, cuts through goats cheese a treat. It is a good accompaniment to a strong cheddar as well, but my favourite pairing is with a goats cheese.The jam is quite runny and the pips I would associate with raspberry are mostly removed, maybe wholly removed as I didn’t notice any at all.It is a strong chilli raspberry jam that pairs well with goats cheese.

This is very nice tasting Chilli jam made from a blend 0f sweet and spicy flavours. The taste of the fresh raspberries with a kick of chilli is a great combination. Ideal for my tastes as I try to avoid bland foods so always looking for something a little bit spicier.Can be used as a spread on toast or sandwich but I also enjoy it as a dip or to spice up my cheese on toast.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this raspberry chilli jam and I’ve never tasted anything like it, in a good way!I thought it would be more like a chilli jam with raspberries but it’s actually quite runny like a sauce but it tastes of raspberry jam with a huge chilli kick. It’s definitely one to experience for yourself as everyone’s taste is different but I loved it - the initial sweet and jammy raspberry taste followed by the bite and lingering heat of the chilli. I had it smothered on cornbread but it would be great on toast to thoroughly warm you up on a cold winter’s morning.It has a heat level of two but it is pretty hot so it must be very close to being a three. I’m a little confused about the ingredients though. After sugar, raspberries and lemon juice, the ingredients state ‘carolina reaper (0.8%) (scotch bonnet chillies 93%, salt), pectin. So I’m not sure whether it has any carolina reaper in it, as it suggests that the scotch bonnet chillies and salt are what make up the carolina reaper ingredient.I would definitely recommend trying this jam - it is very unusual and a must-have for spicy food lovers.

This product is ok tasting. It is too bitter and spicy to put on toast, but it tastes ok on a chicken sandwich. It might be good on ice cream. It's absolutely horrible with coffee or tea. It's probably best not to have this with anything sweet unless it's also fatty so it can absorb the heat, though it wasn't too great on a cheese sandwich. Overall wouldn't recommend it

This is a nice chilli jam that does have a hot twist. It tasted pretty hot straight from the jar but mellowed out in a toastie with some ham and cheese. Very tasty and a bit different. The only thing is it is very runny, so I think it would be difficult having with crackers.

After trying the strawberry and chilli jam I was really excited to try the raspberry version. This was made with Carolina reapers so I was really looking forwards to the sweet heat that this promised.The name had a really thick red appearance and a very strong scent of chillis. It smells like a hot sauce and you can smell the heat.The texture is slightly thinner than than usual jams. However it has a lovely raspberry flavour without any heat. When you finish your mouthful you suddenly have an instense heat from the Carolina reaper simmering in the back of your mouth.This jam is delicious and can be used as a chutney with cheese or a standard jam. Absolutely lovely and I recommend trying it. Especially if you have sampled the strawberry one.
